There were moments where the book was long and repetitive, but overall it was an okay read that reminded me of a few things needed to be remembered.

The last words in the book are "(And I believe we need to start now so that in the latter years of our lives we won't have to look back on missed opportunities and feel the dreaded emotions epitomized by the words "We wait too long")"

The book had nice pointers, it would be a good read for those who want to read as much about leadership as they can.

This book is a great introduction to leadership studies for college students. Its an easy read, inspiring students to consider making a difference in this world. It offers some handy and provocative advice, like distinguishing between managers and leaders, why Hitler is not a leader, and why there is no leader without collaborators.

His six "Es" of the leadership process are a helpful introduction to leadership (envision, enlist, empower, evaluate and encourage). What Burchard misses is the confl
