A lovely little Christmas tale about a small town that could be like the one I grew up in. Some quirky, but realistic characters, and some heartfelt issues make this a sweet book in a Christmas themed spirit!

Beverly has brought us back to Cherryvale in a story of Christmas Miracles. This is a great book that you must read this Christmas. Capturing the true meanings of Christmas this book will give you the right mind set as you enter into this wonderful time of year. If you've read this series you must read this book, but if you are new to Cherryvale you still MUST read this book! The way Beverly writes is refreshing, real, and fabulous. The character's are the people we all want as neighbors. ...more

I was hoping for an inspiring and entertaining read from "Christmas Bells"...and I am pleased to say it ended up being both.

The book starts out in the small town of Cherryvale as they are getting ready for their Christmas pageant. However, a 100-year blizzard storm changes their plans as well as many others who get stranded in their small town. The main character, Grace, is a "get-it-done" "in-charge" type of woman who learns several lessons along the way. And there are others that end up impact

I just finished The Christmas Bells.
Excellent story of team work and faith.
I loved Cherryvale and the people who live there. Left me wanting more of the Cherryvale books.

Don't pass this one by-

Cherryvale is a very small town (we are not told where) that is not prepared to take care of all the tourists who end up being stranded there unexpectedly due to a Christmas Eve blizzard. Grace Harkins is the person everyone goes to in this small town when they need to get things done, and so she along with her friends are doing their best to take care of all the stranded people while a couple get sick and many more are getting hostile and irritated being cooped up in a community theater.

Some books have me yearning for their small community where people care about one another and pull together for events and in times of trouble. This one not only does just that but also captures the not-so-pleasant side of human nature while under stress.

Also nicely captured is Grace's relationship with her grown daughter and the struggles they face and emotions Grace experiences when things don't go so well. Whatever Grace says or does is met with a look or word of disapproval when it comes to
A Christmas Eve snow and ice blizzard strands almost 100 strangers in small town Cherryvale on the eve of Cherryvale's Christmas Festival. It is Grace's anniversary, but she finds herself stranded in the town auditorium with the strangers while her doctor husband is stranded at the hospital with incoming emergencies. The people of Cherryvale band together to try and bring the miracle of Christmas to both themselves and the stranded strangers.

I really liked this Christmas novella. Filled with all

This was a Christmas gift and was just a bit
too saccharine-with-a-touch-of religion for me.
A nice holiday story about good people in a nice town, though, if you don 't want any challenges in your reading.

Cute Christmas read with a town dealing with a major storm and many stranded travelers. People learned lessons from each other.

My first story was published at the age of 8. It was a compelling romp about a line (don't judge me) who wanted to march in a parade. My mom stapled the pages together and I was hooked on writing from that day. Decades later, I still scribble and daydream until the characters refuse to stay quietly in my head any longer. Fortunately for my mom, we've moved beyond crayon drawings on Big Chief ...more
