Another April Harlequin release I didn't care about. Simone finds out her boyfriend Damon is cheating on her with her best friend. She goes to Spain to be close to her beloved grandfather but he is dying. She wants to make his last months happy by making piece with his lifelong enemies, the hero's family. So she proposes a marriage of convenience that will only last a few months.

Alesander is rich, successful, romantic and gorgeous. I liked him but didn't feel a connection with him. The heroine...more
amazingly enough, i like this one pretty much! why amazing?bcoz i just saw the bad reviews! alessander was such a cold number!but so hot in bed! this couple really burnt the sheets and it was mostly sex bet them. i did not feel a connection on an emotional level but i guess the sex was enough! alessander was not so bad and simone was overly dramatic in her pursuit of an old man's desires! she was such an accomplished liar dat i can't help wondering what she'll get to next! she was a very complic...more

An excellent captivating story - loved both main characters.A roller coaster of emotion.... at times I couldnt see the words for the tears.

Thanks Trish for a great book

I haven't read a Harlequin Presents in a long while, and I read this one almost in one sitting.

I loved the supreme alpha hero, the passion, the sparks, in this marriage of convenience.
It was ok.I didn't get much into characters. Alesander was a good into image of harlequin presents hero but he wasn't sure what he wants. Heroine wasn't much likable. She was hot and cold at same time. I can't seem to connect with her.
Chemistry was hot but there wasn't any romance or tender moments in it.In most of conversation they started screaming at each other. As if to tear each other apart.
At the beginning I like the story but after that it was just roaming around the same topic....

Simone’s and Alesander’s families were bitter rivals, going back generations. Their Spanish vineyards abutted each others', and Alesander’s family cursed Simone’s and vowed they would someday be driven from the land that they wished to make their own. Read More
It started out well then it fell flat on its face. Disliked both the hero and the heroine. No, I hated the heroine. She was too selfish and whatever might be the faults of the hero, I feel she took advantage of him being a "nice" guy. There was no chemistry or connection between the hero and the heroine.

Set amidst vineyards in the picturesque Basque region of Spain, Morey's marriage-for-profit premise shines, with a dynamic duo whose road to love is a long one, but worth every obstacle." RT Book Reviews, rated 4 stars
