I just read three Catfish Bend novels in an anthology, the only Catfish Bend books available in my state-wide library system.

When I was 8 or 9 years old, I read this one, borrowed from the paperback carousel at my local library. I thought it was great. It had intrigue, tension, and danger, and it all worked out in the end. I remember borrowing it at least one other time, and it stuck in my head for decades.
