Todd is a collector of worms. He likes to torture his sister with his worms, putting it in her cereal, sandwich, down her back... One day, he cuts one of the worms in half and weird things started to happen. Todd thought the worms are getting revenge from him because they appeared everywhere in his things. At the end, he begins to collect butterflies.

Well lets face it worms are not all that scary, right? Doesn't really cause goosebumps? But when Todd starts teasing and scaring girls with the wiggly things he does get startling results. Still would they cause goosebumps? Well if they start showing up everywhere you turn, even your food, you might get a little concerned and maybe a goosebump or two or 2,000. Todd loves worms and even has a worm farm in his basement. He is going to do a science project on them. But the new kid, Patrick, is sudd More...

They're creepy and they're crawly -- they're totally disgusting! Obsessed with worms? That's putting it mildly. Todd is so fascinated with worms, he keeps a worm farm in his basement! Most of all, Todd loves torturing his sister and her best friend with worms. Dropping them in their hair. Down their backs. Until one day, after cutting a worm in half, Todd notices something strange. The rest of the worms seem to be staring at him! Suddenly worms start showing up in the worst places for Todd. In h More...

No...I didn't like this one. It was over and over just going on at the same thing, worms, worms, worms. (Not that there is anything wrong with worms.) - But it's just not scary, and you can't write a complete, from beginning till end, creepy and not-getting-boring story about it. The constant continuing battle between the brother and sister was also very annoying... - The end was really short cut-off, and a total anti-climax. And then Stine had to put two more pages at the end of the book about More...

Ahhh, the Goosebump days. I would borrow so many of these from the library they seriously considered extending my limit of books checked out at one time. R.L. Stine you were a reprieve from a harsh and dreary childhood in which my mind wandered far away from the troubles of the day. I stole books into my bed and read far into the night by the faintest of lights. I might have better eyesight were it not for you; however, I regret not one page or line.

This book is about this kid named Todd, and he is a worm-maniac guy. He plays worm related pranks on his little sister, and her best friend. But one time when he cuts a worm in half, the worms seem to stare at him! Then worms started to appear in his lunch, bed, and cap! He thinks that the worms want revenge for cutting up their friend. And then, when he goes to school digging up worms, a GIANT worm come out of the ground and takes revenge.

I’m not fond of worms, and unsurprisingly, Go Eat Worms! did nothing to endear them to me, nor did it endear me to Todd and his wormy weirdness, Regina and her bad catchphrase, or Danny and his science fair-winning balloon-based solar system model. Sad, I know. But hey, that’s what happens when a book is premised on worms and isn’t called How to Eat Fried Worms.

I was hooked on these series as a kid. I remember when this first book came out and all the hype surrounding it, and quickly joined in on scarfing these things down. They were fun at the time, although even in grade school they had me rolling my eyes at some of the goofiness (and the cliffhanger chapter endings! Every chapter, without fail!).

Out of all the Goosebumps books I have read. This is probably the most realistic. There aren't any ghost or monsters or witchcraft of any sort of scifi thingamajug, but ironically is probably the least interesting of them all. I'm surprised I even read it. The story of worms is kind of lame, lets be serious, their not the scariest bugs out there, their gross, but not scary. I was interested in reading it, but not sure why, I guess because there was so much interaction with the characters and pra More...

Goosebumps is one of those books that you read for fun. It is a humorous book that has many parts of suspense. It is also one of the books that you con read in 20 - 45 minutes. I think if you like funny (or scary) books you should read this book.

Pretty boring kid pranks with dubious suspense until page 113...the giant worm was pretty cool. And the twist on the very last page was rather satisfying.

Goosebumps was so popular when I was a kid, we would get in fights in the library over who got to check the new one out next. No joke.

I really liked this book! I have read this book a long time ago but I still remember everything. It was interesting and even though R.L.Stine's stories are for kids they were entertaining and maybe they even gave me a little goosebumps ;D

Not the best, but far from the worst Goosebumps book out there. As usual though - crap ending.

I "gross, gross, gross"-ed my way through this one. I do
not
like worms. o_O

I admit the idea of finding worms everywhere kind of grosses me out and may have contributed to the two star rating, but there are other problems with the story. The climax is a let down and the main character, Todd, is not likable at all. (view spoiler)
