I found the book rich in content but somewhat too like a text book for a truly enjoyable read.

Malcolm Barker, born in Yorkshire, attended Rossall School on the Fylde Coast of Lancashire and went from there to Manchester University where he studied business.

He joined Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's staff in 1980 and at the age of 21 he becmae one of the youngest persons in the history of Buckingham Palace to cary the title of an Official.
