Kason was on the way to help a friend when his life was changed forever by a drunk driver, living life in a wheelchair and losing his lover has knocked his confidence and he feels invisible, but Ryen sees Kason as a man he could love. This is a VERY sweet romance about Kason, who is in a wheelchair after being involved a car accident with a drunk driver. His boyfriend, at the time, Blake, left him because he didn't want to be with someone who was incapacitated. It's also about Ryen, who works and runs a coffee shop. Kason likes Ryen, goes to the coffee shop just to look at him and talk to him, when he can. He would like to go out on a date with Ryen but being in a wheelchair holds him back. The story is romantic and sweet, but nothing special. I couldn't connect with Kason and his wheelchair. It wasn't realistic enough, at least for me. But his story with Ryen is sweet nonetheless, even if everything happens a bit to fast. We even have a HEA at the end, so in overall this is a fine sweet novella.

I think I fell for the cover and the synopsis...but...unfortunately this book did not live up to my expectations...
Kason and Ryen were both really likable characters...but the dialogue between them and the overall dialogue/interaction in this story felt more YA than adult story.

Kasen is wheelchair bound and he never expects someone to every see him as just a person anymore. Ryan is getting over his own loss but he is such a special guy. I love how its not about the able guy being the caretaker but about the two men really forming a partnership where they share the responsibility of caring for each other.

A really sweet story, although towards the end the writing became a bit rushed.

Очень, очень слащаво. Дамский романчик в худшем смысле слов.
