I really didn't like the last story either. The other stories were Okay. However, I've read other works by some of these authors that were much better than what was in this collection.

I really loved the first 3 stories in this collection. I was thinking to myself that I was going to have a hard time choosing which story I liked the best. But then the 4th story was just good and the last story I didn't like. Over all this was a nice Christmas read.

The last story was a little strange--the woman could hear animals talk and it wasn't a very clean read. I liked the regency story the best of all of them.
