LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!

Lucas Hensley (the main narrator) and Cameron Fletcher (the boss's son) are both advertising executives in a prestigious firm. At first, they didn't get along. Lucas thought Cameron was one of the self-righteous man, who was wealthy, smart, and straight, with everyone fawning over him.

Lucas also thought that Cameron couldn't stand the sight of him. But then, their advertising company was going to have a meeting with Lurex, one of the biggest manufacturer of co...more

A Fun Whimsical Read!~

4 Stars~

Gosh, it took me a a minute to get into Lucas's POV, but once I did, I really, really liked It!

I found this book to be fun , whimsical and very cute.

I love the count-down clock it was way wickedly fun

The socks were freaking adorable, superman was perfect.

The romance was lovely.

There are two ending, the end and the very end~my most favorite part was the " VERY END",Tobias' POV of the meeting with Lurex and what happens after. "Watching them is like watching wate...more

Shit, I have to give this 4 stars just for the sheer fun factor. (Though if I were really being honest about the quality of the plot, it was more of a 3 - 3.5.)

Is it a perfect book? Of course not. There is a disclaimer at the beginning that it was not professionally edited, and there is a smattering of grammar/tense/spelling errors throughout. But I enjoyed every damned second of it (which is more than I can say for some books I've paid for). I don't think I stopped smiling from page one to "The...more

LUCAS and CAMERON - what a pairing!!

Working together under orders, but much against their better judgment, to obtain the huge LUREX account for the sake of the firm, founded by Cameron's father, and who woulda thought that those 65 hours would lead to, well, such a wonderful book.

Some very funny moments, some really tender ones, hot and steamy ones - well it wouldn't be an N.R. Walker story if there weren't, and all done in the 'best possible taste' as Kenny Everett would have said!

A good story. Cute. Sweet. I enjoyed :-)

A deluge of formatting errors and tense shifts though, so beware.

This is a super-fun, super-sweet (and super-hawwt!) story about two guys with sixty-five hours to make the deadline on an advertising project. One is out and proud, and one is straight. Or, I should say, one is out and proud and he thinks the other one is straight. He's got issues with his gaydar, but everything else is in perfect working order.

Check this out, because it's fun, it's free, and it will make you smile.

This was so adorable, so hot and just so goddamn loveable. Seriously, it contained every little, lovely thing the world of romance could offer (apart from kinky BDSM.. [that may be taken as a suggestion :D]), and then all this loveliness was rolled up into this short little book which, if I had a hard copy, I would probably smother it to my chest (giving it boob love of course) and just stare at it with happy happy eyes for eons.

This was exactly what I needed and wanted, as I've been in a bit of...more

N.R. Walker, you done it again, written an excellent romantic story. This story is pulling, emotionally realistic and full of amazing characters. Cameron and Lucas are a great couple, I liked them a LOT. There is only one negative point it's to short. I would LOVE to read about them on and on. For me, the way it ends, it doesn't feel completed.

Yes dear, it's a gem and it's freeeeeeeeeeeee ^o^

Lucas & Cameron seems to hate each other, but when they have to team up to win a contract, within sixty five hours, they likely will revise their feeling.

Sweet, cute, fluffy, funny...you name it!
I looooooooooovee it!
And Cameron's socks fetish remind me with a certain celebs :))

I really like the first half of this book. The characters are fun, their misreading of each other plausible and I like them getting to know each other.

A little bit repetitive but easy reading. Many funny moments. The foot fetish was humorous and I really liked the socks. Very nice to see both families supportive no hostilities or sudden deaths!

Seemed like Walker had done her marketing homework. The campaign with the club scenes were steamy and nice. I felt the respite people weren't presented a...more

I quite enjoyed this book with two men who dislike each other. Lucas was head hunted by Fletcher advertising. He's a sweet Texan boy who loves other boys and makes no secret of that. Fletcher Junior aka Cameron has been cold and distant towards Lucas since day one. Lucas has no idea why and his narrative tends to obsess over it in this book. Lucas an Cameron are forced to band together to nab a lucrative deal. They have three days to bring about a new campaign for a condom/lube company.

4.5 stars. Another fabulous freebie from N.R. Walker. I'm so grateful that she's made these available to us. Especially that they're longer stories that I can really get into. Loved the chapter titles. I always enjoy when authors do that. It's sort of like a little story that's running alongside the main one. Whether the titles are serious, poetic or funny, I don't mind. It always adds that extra layer of interest. Loved the extra quirky personality traits, the foot/sock fetishes, the stop-clock...more

Full disclosure - my rating is a "fan fiction" four stars, which is not necessarily judged on the same scale as professionally edited books that one pays for.

Also, another full disclosure - I feel a little guilty saying I "read" this book since there was much skimming involved. This is not because it wasn't good, but because I was just in the mood to get straight to the "good stuff" and so I did.

That said, I really enjoyed this book. The author is very forthcoming about the fact that was origina...more

I like N.R. Walker. Her stuff is just so easy to read...and everyone loved this one!

This, however, for me, was not my favorite. And trust me, it's all my fault. See, I've worked in the advertising industry...so I had a really hard time overlooking the errors in how things are done with new clients and pitches.

"Try and suspend reality," I'd tell myself.
"Urgh, but I caaaan't," I'd say back to myself.

See, I'm also a scotch drinker. And when Lucas & Cam are at the club, he says he's kinda buz...more

There is nothing I love more than a free read. (Well, okay maybe there is but you guys get my point)
I got the copy from NR Walker's website and for that, thank you, Madam.

Like I said before it was a really funny and cute story. Squeal worthy.

I found my self giggling like a school girl at some of the scenes.

I especially liked Lucas, the confident, talented, funny, brilliant man who isn't afraid to show his pride. He is gay and he is proud of it. That's why I love him.

Next, is the gay-dar breaking...more

Adorably amusing. Passionately perfect. Exciting and exhilarating.

Lucas Hensley will knock your socks off.
I am not joking, that is exactly what he will do. Well, if you are a hot and sexy gay man he will tear them off, but hell he had my toes wiggling and begging to be stripped. I fell in love with this man, absolutely head over heels in love. He is confident, proud, southern sex on a stick, and oozing with charm. The only person that seems to be unfazed by his charisma is Cameron Fletcher.

Another sweet free read from this author. I really liked it; I liked the characters and the advertising setting. I also loved their final project for which they paired up those 65 hours ;)
The writing is fast paced, and the timer on the whole novel was a nice touch I appreciated. It managed to keep me on my toes.
The best thing in my opinion was that the author gave us somehow 2 books in one. Because we have the first part of the book, their work, the 65 hours spend together, followed by...more

I LOVED this book! I thought it was hilarious. I loved Lucas as the narrative voice, and the fact that both he and Cameron were two distinct characters with two distinct personalities— Lucas with all his cockiness and charm and Cameron with all of his reservation and shyness. I especially loved that the love between the two of them develops so organically. It isn't insta-love. It isn't even insta-lust. These are two people who get to know one another and start to like each other over time, for...more

That's what you get when you go to sleep after the sun has already risen.

Warning: Do not start this ultra-charming story [about two workplace rivals who are thrown together by circumstances and who bicker, trade heart-to-hearts, and have amazingly smokin' hot steamy sexytimes] at 3:30AM after reading a review of it because you will undoubtedly be hurtin' the next day after you stayed up until 7AM to finish it.

Oh my gosh. I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF THIS.

I am definitely going to re-read this in the future. No question! It was so fricking good! I love Cameron. I love Lucas. It was all so good. AND FREE, I can't even believe it!

This story is about two ad executives who have to work on a special ad campaign. And well, the story goes from there.

You read it and find out. It was fricking glorious. The whole thing! Beautiful and sexy and fun! Yes! Well done, N.R. walker. Thank you!

A fast paced, fun and delightfully sexy free read. Loved both the MC's and a clever plot kept me wanting to turn the page. There were some very minor editing issues, with shifts in tense from past to present, but it is a free read and it was not even close to enough to pull me out of the story. The only criticism I really have is the overuse of a word. Not that I have any problem with swearing, but 323 times in 168 pages was overdoing it a little! However, as stated, this is an...more

I don't claim to be a fabulous reviewer but I started reading this and could not stop. Sometimes I just rate the books I read but I felt I needed to say something about this one. I can't believe that there are such wonderfully talented people out there that can suck me into a story so completely that my whole day stops. But thank you for giving me such a wonderful gift! I will be sure to recommend this to my friends and I will be keeping my eyes open for all future works by you. This made me lau...more

(Dec) I loved this! It was free - which makes it even better! But, the story of two men - one out and proud, the other unhappily in the closet, who find their way to each other over a long work weekend, was charming, realistic, and hot! The work they did was interesting (and I think a personal pleasure company should take note - they had great ideas)and the acceptance they found among family and co-workers was gratifying. I would definitely recommend this as a quick, easy, and really well done r...more

Such an amazing book!! Not only that it shows in a great kind of way that love and attraction know no limits, but in a such place, where you think that your life is just insignificant is exactly when you are forced somehow to start living, experience all those mighty emotions not giving a single damn fuck about peoples opinions. The only thing I wish right now is that could possibly happen to me, 'cause everything written in this book is just splendid and so reallistic. I hope that more people w...more

I just love this story, it just makes me grin. Lucas is full on and Cameron represses just about every feeling.
Lucas, new to the company, thinks Cam is an up-tight straight guy and the boss's son too. Cam hates that Luca is out proud with a big dose of 'like it or lump it' attitude.
When they are thrown together to divise a marketing campaign in the required 65 hrs, fun, laughs, flirting and making out ensue. They each learn things about the other - a great warm, feel good read for me.

When faced with what to read next I did what I tend to do... go for a cheap/free male-male romance. And boy was this a SMUTTY one! DAMN! It was a good mix of sweet and sexy. If a bit on the unrealistic side... I mean come on, I don't think it is possible to orgasm that many times in one day! For basically erotica, I think it's a solid 4 stars and a very easy read. It lacks a bit of substance and gravitas so it's really more of a 3.5 star read to me overall. This is a go-to if you want s...more

Lucas was a professional, brilliant, out gay man. Cameron was a professional, brilliant, closeted gay man. They both worked at a PR company owned by Cameron's father. This is their story when they had to make a marketing concept for a condom company.

It's a fun read. Lucas had a thing with feet, and Cameron had a thing with cute socks. So, they were matched, like gloves (or socks).

That it's free just added to my enjoyment.

Bumped up to 3 stars, because it managed to actually hold my interest - in contrast to so many other books I read lately. Even though, it was a close call at times.

The first half of the book was quite captivating and enjoyable. The 2nd half, though, was filled with lots n lots of sex.. PWP-like. Not my thing at all. But that's just me. ;)

loved it!
sweet, hot and - hear this: no instalove! the mcs (they're adorable, btw) fall in love slowly and realistically. this is what sold this book for me.
i really liked the setting and the idea, and the writing is perfect. breezy, funny and oh so sexy, but with a lot of sweet moments.
and it's free!
very very very recommended

Loved this story. Was really impressed with the quality of the story and the length, particularly considering it is free! (Thanks NR Walker!)
The characters were great. Especially Lucas who is out and proud and lots of fun.
Really interesting use of a countdown clock which counts down the time that advertising execs Lucas (out) and Cameron (in the closet), have to develop a campaign proposal. This is also the window they have to develop a relationship. Of course there is a happy ending.

Who am I?

Good question...

I am many things; a mother, a wife, a sister, a writer.

I have pretty, pretty boys who live in my head, who don't let me sleep at night unless I give them life with words.

I like it when they do dirty, dirty things...but I like it even more when they fall in love.

I used to think having people in my head talking to me was weird, until one day I happened across other writer...more
