I really enjoyed this book. I think the writer does a great job with bringing something such as superheroes to a level for children to be able to relate to. I think sometimes movies/books and superheroes can be a little above that of a young reader, but the writer really does a good job with bringing it to a young readers level. The art is nice. However, the story is a little weak. The main plot point is that the Justice League heroes are hit with a shrinking ray. That means they are fighting things like bugs and raindrops, which doesn't really give the heroes a chance to show off their powers. Kids enjoy it pretty well, though.

Good story, good moral. The illustrations aren't quite as vivid as in some of the other DC Super Friends books, but they're still nice. My nephew was entertained, so that's what matters.

Superhero books can sometimes seem either too violent or devoid of story. This is a nice adventure-packed story that isn't too violent.
