If you are an adult that knows about Laura Ingalls Wilder, this wouldn't tell you anything new. However, if you are trying to get a young reader interested in reading and said reader likes the Little House, the young reader might like this. Includes a list of books at the end for further reading.

Great history of Laura Ingalls Wilder

I have watched the Little House series on tv since I was a child. I loved it then and I still enjoy the show. I also read Laura's books as a child and enjoyed those even more because they were to be taken as Laura's history. My children grew up watching the series and read some of the earlier books. As a parent seeking good life lessons, there are no better examples.

short concise biography

This book is a short biography of the famous author. It's a more organized and engaging story than the Wikipedia entry. It does not touch much on controversy associated with the differences in her books and actual life, but does address the role of her daughter as editor of her writing.

Having read the Little House books many, many, MANY years ago (but let's not go into that, all right?!), I have aways been curious as to what happened to this wonderful lady. This story, though short, gives a great insight as to how Laura lived her life and what happened later.

Rating The Life Of Laura Installs Wilder

This was an informative book. I have personally been to the areas of Laura's childhood. This book, at times, makes you feel transported to that time and place.

Loved it

I loved her books as a child. They carried me away to a happier, simpler time. Her life fascinates me still.

Short read but the truth facts on Laura Ingalls Wilder. The TV version was defiantly not factual at all.
