The third book in the “funny, sexy, and lively” (Publishers Weekly) romance series about a paranormal dating service called Midnight Liaisons.

Marie Bellavance has known for years that she’s going to die of the same incurable disease her mother did. That’s why she never dated and doesn’t allow anyone to get close to her. But now, as an employee of the paranormal dating agen

Firstly, I must give Sims credit, I think this stands on its own fairly well. While Must Love Fangs is connected to the first two books in the series, I don't think you actually need to read them in order to 'get' Fangs.

Secondly, I liked that the heroine was somewhat atypical. She wasn't conventionally pretty, a badass, a genius, a honeypot, or extraordinary in anyway. She was just a woman who was dying and looking for a way out, while being fairly cranky all the time due to lack of sleep.

Is this book the most cliche book I have EVER read??

Quite possibly.

Did I still enjoy it?

Of course.

This book revolves around Josh and Marie. The first being the a man with the personality of an elementary school boy who likes to tug on your pigtails to indicate that he likes you...and every other girl on the playground, and the latter the iciest ice queen to have ever ruled Icelandia all to hide the fact that she is sick and dying. Can they ever overcome their differences and learn to love one

This story has an interesting plot where Marie (a human) is dying from a very rare disease and is intent on being "changed" to save her life. The plot development is executed well and her "mate" is very good match for her more dower personality. Very enjoyable read and series.
In this installment of the Midnight Liaisons series we get to meet Marie. Marie works the night shift at Midnight Liaisons and is now thinking of using these services for herself. Marie knows that she is going to die, her mother died of a strange illness and now Marie knows she is showing all the signs of the same illness. She really wants to find someone who will turn her to save her life, so she decides that she will seek out a vampire and become one herself. But Joshua has other ideas, this w ...more

Supernatural Love

A supernatural dating agency - because supernaturals need love too, yo! ;)

The Midnight Liaisons series has been a blast so far. I didn't read the first book (I know, shame on me!) but thanks to Lynsey's glowing recommendation I did grab the second one and was immediately hooked on the world Jessica Sims has created. Each book focuses on a different couple, and in this particular installment, we've got Marie and Joshua, two

I've read so many romance novels in my life and I can honestly say this is one of the dumber ones.

Marie is a freaking moron. I don't know if Miss Sims is really a man writing under a fake name, because only a man can write a woman that badly, women TALK about their problems. Even "ice queen" types reach out to someone. There's no way she'd keep her illness quiet. We women seek out others for support and help. Going it alone is a man trait that people wrongly think when applied to women makes th

I feel bad not being able to give this book more stars, but Marie seriously caused me no end of frustration. She was so stupid at times that I almost didn't want to keep reading. But Josh was great—that he was willing to put aside his own feelings and try to do what Marie thought was right was a testament to how he felt about her. He still tried to warn her, of course, and he didn't agree with Marie about what she should do, but he tried to support her. And then, of course, he had to

If you want to unwind a bit with a fun and sexy paranormal story, then the Midnight Liaisons series is just the right fit for you! I always have such a great time reading these and can usually gobble them up pretty quick. This was a one sitting kind of read.

In this case, Marie, who works at the Midnight Liaisons supernatural dating agency, is looking for a supernatural date. She shouldn't be using the agency's database for her own purposes but she has a noble cause. She knows she's dying and sh

I picked this one up for pure fun. The whole concept of the supernatural dating agency was explored to marvelously snarky effect in Beauty Dates the Beast, and I keep following the series to see where it goes. The second book, Desperately Seeking Shapeshifter was still good, but didn’t quite match the sparkling banter of the first book. While there were story reasons why that happened, I missed the banter.

Heroine: An interesting change from your typical heroine. She wasnt super warrior woman but she was strong enough to earn my respect. She was cool but not bitchy and there was a solid reason behind it. she wasnt super anything and she wasnt even gorgeous and perfect in every way. It was kinda awesome to have that bar lowered. That being said while i admired her...tenacity she was seriously an idiot at times. At least twice she ventured into TSTL land and only the fact that she was despe

Boy was I surprised! Almost 85% of the time when i read the blurb, i more or less get the story. Dont get me wrong there are definitely hidden twists and turns that i didnt expect but i dont think ive ever been as wrong as i was here. I got a completely different story then what i pictured while reading the blurb.

Moving on. . .

Lets start with the the decisions Marie was making

I get it, going through what she did BUT...

And then, her illness. My God! i cant even imagine such a thing

Marie works the night shift at Midnight Liaisons, a dating service for the paranormal. Shifters, Vampires, and Fae come together here to date. Marie has a problem, a rare hereditary disease passed from her mother is killing her. When a lightbulb goes off in Marie's head that if she is changed by one of her clients she will live, because the Paranormal world isn't susceptible to disease. But Marie has a dilemma, Shifters have been prohibited to change humans after an incident. That leaves a vamp

Did I like the book? Yes. Did I like the characters? All but one. I HATED Marie. OMG this bitch was annoying as hell. All it takes is for her to go to the damn doctor, get more test done until they find a solution. She was a snotty bitch to Josh, but he loved her anyway. He treated her so nice and she still fucked up running behind a vampire who wanted to freaking EAT her. I wanted her to die SO bad. Why did Josh suffer just to save her ungrateful ass. Then at the last minute she realized she lo ...more

Na Jessicu Sims a její kožoměnce jsem narazila už dříve v několika antologiích a četla pár jejích povídek.
Bavilo mě to.

A fatal illness adds a somber note to Marie and Josh’s otherwise very spicy and heated relationship. Marie tries desperately to keep Josh at arm’s length, knowing it will only lead to heartache for both of them, but I love how Josh barrels right through every excuse. He is the lighthearted fun-loving Russell, yet deep down his heart of gold is all too obvious. Josh is so irresistible that not even the sometimes acerbic and cranky Marie will be able to resist.

Jessica Sims delivers another amazing addition to the Midnight Liaisons Series, the third installment, Must Love Fangs. Marie, a human who works at the Midnight Liaisons office is dying. She’s got an incurable disease which will soon claim her life – that is unless she can find a Supe to turn her. She’s not picky; any vampire, Were, or shifter will do. Anyone . . . except Josh Russell.

Josh is Werecougar well known for being a player. Josh is everything Marie doesn’t want in a man and even though

I love this concept!!! A paranormal dating agency has so much potential for stories!!!

In this book we get the story of Marie, one of the still single office girls, and yummy playboy cougar shifter Joshua. They are such a mismatched pair that they work. Her snark had me laughing out loud!

The smexy takes a while but when it gets there, hold on to you panties!!! Oh la, the bedroom door is wide open and deliciously detailed! Not as far as an erotic novel but more than enough to have a gal wishing fo
‘Must love fangs’ is the third (novel) book in the Midnight Liaisons series. (There are a few novella’s in between, so I discovered.) I really love this series. The series is about a paranormal dating agency called Midnight Liaisons.

This story is about Marie Bellavance (a human) who works for this special dating agency. She’s one of the few humans who knows about the existence of the supernatural creatures. But she has a secret of her own. She’s dying. She has the same incurable disease her mot

Another fun and sexy read from Jessica Sims.

What I liked:

Marie is a great heroine. She’s strong and sassy. She’s a little naïve when it comes to supes even though she’s worked as Midnight Liaisons for a year. But she keeps to herself and the supes try to keep as much as they can from humans so her naïve about them is understandable.

Joshua is just down right sexy. I picture him as Jason Stackhouse in True Blood but with more brains. LOL He’s kno

I must say that I found this book within the series one of the better reads although it still had a lot of trivialness and repetitiveness. What made it even better to my liking was the fact that the author included a disease that so little of us would have known about or have even heard.

Marie-Pierre is probably one of the strongest and most personality-developed heroines that I have met in any book. She is terribly flawed while in a sense it does get to be under the skin that the author chose

Marie Bellavance is a human, working at Midnight Liaisons, a dating agency for supernatural beings. She has a fatal genetic disease (more on this later) and when she learns that supernaturals can shrug off such ailments, she becomes obsessed with being “turned” by one kind or another in order to keep living. It is somewhat ironic then, when she chooses the vampire species to do the deed, what with them being undead and all. Her first choice was to become a shifter but a re

MUST LOVE FANGS continues the flirty, sexy, sweetness I’ve come to love in the the Midnight Liaisons series. The concept of a shifter/vampire/fae dating agency is neat and I always look forward to any fun dating antics that come about in this series. The plot of MUST LOVE FANGS moves at a great pace and was a surprisingly quick read due to the fun, relatable and complex characters. I especially admired the respectful balance of humor and lightness with

So I love the green eyes on the cover, and while I haven't read any of the other Midnight Liaisons books, this can be read as a stand-alone. I love Joshua Russell, our hero. He wants Marie (lovely dying heroine) so bad and offers to protect and vet her dates as she decides which man/supernatural creature to date/become so she can live. Marie has decided on a vampire (due to the recent events in the alliance), but her first few attempts have been disastrous. Which, of course, was hilarious to the ...more

Choices, Choices in MUST LOVE FANGS: What Type of Supe to Become?

When I received this book the cover immediately hooked me and I looked forward to reading the story. I noted right off that the author did a really good job bringing me up to speed on characters and backstory without me feeling like she had just dumped a big pile of information. That is a really good feature in a third entry. The story stood on its own and I would like to go

Midnight Liaisons, is a dating service for the supernatural. Creatures who have fur, grow fangs and sometimes only come out at night. If you are one of these creatures this is the place to find your perfect match.

The only problem is female shifters are in short supply. And dating humans is strictly forbidden. Even humans who know about the supernatural community are off limits. Especially after a were-tiger turns his human girlfriend without his alpha's approval. Now they have been exiled, turn

Must Love Fangs is the third book in the Midnight Liaisons series by Jessica Sims. This is such a fun series, I’ve read and enjoyed both previous releases and the teaser at the end of book two had me looking forward to Josh and Marie’s story.

Marie is dying of a little known disease named Fatal Familial Insomnia. Basically, she can’t sleep. Watching her mother die of the same thing was a long, agoniz
Another fun installment in the "Midnight Liaisons" series. The series revolves around the Midnight Liaison paranormal dating service. This book features playboy cougar shifter Joshua Russell and human female Marie Bellavance.

I generally enjoyed this read and do recommend anyone who's read the series to grab this one. It's a fun read that throws in a sweet slant to a paranormal shifter having a crush over a human who has no idea he's serious about her. The erotic action did have some heat with it

Jessica Sims lives in Texas. She hates writing a bio, so something cool will undoubtedly go here later when she actually thinks of something interesting to write. She has some cats, but what writer doesn’t? She plays video games and confesses to reading comic books. And she likes writing, but that one was pretty obvious.
