This is an interesting look at four of the biggest business masterminds in our country's history. It is written in a fairly neutral voice and examines the men moreso than specific business practices. In light of the recent financial crisis, the most fascinating part may be on Gould and Morgan. For Carnegie and Rockefeller, there are better books out there. this book took awhile to get going, but i'm finally at the interesting part. There's a lot of history and factual data, but the underlying story is pretty neat. took a long time to finish it though.

Stuck in Turkey with my last unread Enlglish book. Who knew reconstruction era economics could be so fascinating!! These guys were geniuses if not completely unscrupulous.
