A good read. A page turner. I did find the descriptions and very many pages about Hell too much. I got to the stage where I was saying out aloud with a groan, " ok, I get it...". Just a little too gross and had me wondering if I was going to be thrown into some orgy with too many details - thankfully that did not happen. Overall, I the book was okay and look forward to reading the next two books in this series. At times, I found the character's dialogue tipping into the old-fashioned realm and I can surmise this is because of the age of the author(sorry!) (Serena waits by the telephone like a teenager) yeah, this happened when I was a kid, but now? Everyone has a cell.
