You Can Go Home Again

The only thing Cole Merrick wants to do with the Mirror Lake property he inherited is sell it. And the sooner the better. By rights, I should've given this one one star. I didn't even FINISH it - I couldn't STAND it, anymore, and after forcing my way to the halfway mark, that was enough.

It's another steal... this time from Reality TV. Cole was in Mirror Lake for something like ten months two decades ago (and yet everyone 'recognizes' him as Sloan's grandson?), and during that time, he had a summer romance with Grace. At the end of which he takes off without a word and never contacts her, again. And of course now he

Kathryn Springer never disappoints. I loved this book. I love the people of Mirror Lake. I love the emotions that are brought to the surface of the characters. I love characters that were brought back from previous books in the series. Alex Porter! But this story was not about him. This story is about two people who met in the summer of their youth and then Cole left without a word to Grace. Twelve years later, they meet up again and attractions meld that were never dissipated. I'm sad my visit to Mirror Lake has come to a close. I have a feeling I'll return to this series again. this was one of my least favorites, but I still enjoyed the characters and seeing the other couples making appearances. I'd love to have a friend community like them! of the pros I miss about small town life

Another visit to Mirror Lake. Love these characters and this story brought them all back together. Loved the competition they had for the town birthday celebration. Pretty comical book.

The story was OK, not one of my favourites. I'm not a fan of the misunderstanding based on a partially heard conversation device.
