Great story, but three stars for plagiarism and making things up. Leclercq apparently translated into French whole passages from the English-language guidebooks he read to be used for his own publication. I guess you could get away with that if you were writing a book for French people who would probably never make it to Yellowstone themselves, nor would they likely read those English-language guidebooks.
