This was my first Eliza Gayle book and it will not be my last. Holy hell this woman can write a hot scene. Tucker and Maggie were friends in High School. Maggie dated one of Tucker's friends. They shared one amazing kiss that neither of them have been able to forget.

Over a decade later they find one another on a stormy winter night. Tucker has demons from his past that he can't seem to escape. Maggie is recovering from a recent scandal that ended her 'not so perfect' marriage. They discover that

This is actually a 3.5 star read for me, it wasn't quite a three and not quite a 4....I will explain why.

This is the first book of the Purgatory Masters series, however, I believe that maybe this is a follow on from the Purgatory series. Some characters were in this book already seemed to have a back story that was only gone into briefly. It all seemed kind of glossed over and I felt like I may be missing some information. This is no

Ok, I'm going to have to chalk this one up to sleep deprivation, because I felt lost a lot of the book, and no one else seem to feel the same way. I kept feeling like I was missing big chunks of what was going on.

I thought it was an interesting storyline, but I never felt like it totally clicked for me. I know that part of the explanations were purposefully left out because its going to be part of the story arc for all three/four books. I don't know if I just wasn't reading closely enough (back
I absolutely loved this new addition to the Purgatory series! Tucker is plagued by the past and living a hallow life as a result. Maggie is running away from her past mistakes to lick her wounds by isolating herself back in her home town. It isn't until a snow storm brings in a blast from her past that she never quite got over, to make her face a few of her demons and get what she has always secretly desired. The scenes between these two are off the charts steamy and you really feel the chemistr ...more

In high school, Maggie Cisco and Tucker Lewis shared a forbidden kiss. It wasn’t just a simple kiss, but one that neither of them would ever forget.

Now 15years later after being in jail for being in a BDSM club, a scandalous divorce, Maggie is returning to her home town to hide out and write a tell all book.

Tucker knows the minute she has returned. He decides he is the one to give Maggie what she needs, a Dom to her Submissive.

Ohhhh, I loved this story. Tucker is a true Master and knew how to push Maggie's limits. They were perfect together.
I didn't realize this had a cliff hanger and is a trilogy. I hope I don't have to wait too long for the next book.
Maggie Cisco and Tucker Lewis went to high school together and they shared one sole kiss that they never forgot.
Then, Maggie was on her way to being an expert in BDSM lifestyle, a professor and a respectable marriage. But above all that road led her to unhappiness and heartache.
Now, back in her hometown, the only thing she wishes is to forget the past and start a new life and be left alone. Easier said than done.

Tucker Lewis never forgot Maggie and now that she is in her most fragile state he de

There’s just something sexy about a big, tough Dom who also happens to frequent a kink club. In this case, Tucker Lewis is part owner of Purgatory. A well kept secret in a small town where he grew up. But he’s stayed away from the club and the lifestyle for a while only to have his childhood crush drag him out to play.

Maggie had left her hometown, married, and was for all practical purposes…unhappy. Now with her divorce behind her, she’s back ho
Tucker Lewis is at a comfortable stage of his life. Established career, secure financially, and prominent in his home town, but he doesn't have the one thing that would complete him: a sub. Sure he's been offered many and has his pick but the one who he really wants left town years ago and hasn't returned.
Enter Professor Maggie Cisco. With her marriage in the past and disgraced in her profession she returns to her hometown to consider her options and decide on her future. Along with finishing th

I received this book as a gift from the amazing author and let me just say that this is the first book that I've read by the author and it certainly won't ever be the last! This isn't fifty shades... this is SO much better. The author uses so much detail in her story that you can actually feel like you're the characters. The character development is incredible and I'm so thrilled with this story. It's a BDSM story... and quite steamy.

Readers need to be prepared to have a lot of pulse pounding m

I think this quote from the book is about to go into my favorite quote pile.

"'I'm beginning to worry you might be more evil than I originally believed.'
He grinned down at her. 'It's the pretty face. Fools them every time.'"

Those pretty faces are trouble aren't they? But sometimes trouble can be so much fun!

I have not yet read all the other Purgatory books. I think there were some other back story elements that I might have had a better grasp of if I had. That being said, I was still able to fo

I actually started this book because I really was intrigued by the summary of the second book. At first, I was like, "Damn, why haven't I read this sooner??". After a while it just got kind of stale for me.

Maggie was a know-it-all. A regular Lisa Simpson of BDSM.

But she never did it before...

Tucker is a real-life Dom with dark secrets to match his dark desires.

She claims to be hiding out from the media but she decides to write a tell all book about EVERY detail of her sex life AND Tucker!!WTF?!
I am a HUGE fan of the BDSM erotica genre but it seems that after the success of Fifty Shades of Grey *gags* everyone thinks they can write BDSM successfully. While I think Eliza Gayle is a talented voice in the genre, Tucker's Fall, the first book in the Purgatory Masters series fell flat for me in a couple of different ways.

(1) Maggie is supposed to be a former professor who spent her life studying BDSM and teaching human sexuality yet she is so completely out of her element in Tucker's Fall.

Maggie is married to a Professor who divorces her after a scandal where Maggie is arrested in a BDSM club whilst she is researching lifestyles. Maggie flees to her home town and meets up with Tucker. Tucker introduces her to real BDSM but they both have issues and have to work through them. I enjoyed the book but was disappointed with the ending; was hoping to have a conclusion to the story but just ended.................... and the second book is the story about Levi so I'm left wondering and f ...more

I loved, loved this book , let's face it I love Eliza Gayle's writing. A reclusive artist fond of all BDSM activities. A college professor belittled by her peers because of her interest and writings on human sexual interactions, who was busted during a raid on a BDSM club. Just that would be quite a match, but no Ms. Gayle provides a twist when lo and hold the busted professor was no their than the reclusive's first crush, an attraction he plans on rekindling by appealing to her interest in huma ...more
Tucker Fall’s is the first book in a trilogy about the owners of Purgatory, a BDSM club. Very few people know these men own the club and they like to keep it that way. There is a mystery in all their pasts that I think will slowly reveal itself over time as you get hints of it in this first book.

Maggie Cisco returns to her hometown after being detained during a BDSM club raid. Now jobless and recently divorced over the incident, she just wants to lick her wounds in private. Years of research is

Rating 2 stars - Ok

I loved Eliza Gayle, Midnight Playground (Pleasure Playground #1) and was excited she was coming out with a new series Purgatory Masters, Tucker’s Fall being the first in this series. I was a bit disappointed as it is a 2 star - Ok novel for me. I am a huge fan of BDSM novels but was not feeling Tucker‘s Fall. I could not connect with the characters as they were a bit flat. The BDSM scenes did nothing for me as Tucker commanding Maggie what to do. I wanted better dirty talking
Part of a book-bundle, by the title alone I knew what I was going to find in those pages and even if there were a couple of surprises I don't think they were enough to make this a memorable read.

The main problem with this book for me was the plot, as there wasn't one!! We are given the background information but they are too superficial to justify the story the characters get into.

Maggie has been studying the power exchange in a BDSM relationship for years but the moment she is found/arrested i

I have to say I was bit disappointed in this book for two reasons:

1. The author has been around long enough that some of the typos/grammatical errors just should not be happening.

2. The character development was very rushed. Usually i can get past this but weaved throughout the story are little tidbits of information that IMHO would have enriched the storyline had they been expounded on OR they should have been just cut out. It was just confusing to read. I'll admit that this somewhat bother

I am the biggest cry baby! There's nothing like a beautiful second chance story woven in such a way to yank tears out of your eyes, pour them down your face, and cause you to choke out loud on sobs. That's what this story did for me.

I truly enjoy it when BDSM is presented realistically. Doms and subs bring more out of me than vanilla relationships. So beautiful! I look forward to reading more about the story that was set up in the epilogue (don't worry...I wouldn't call it a cliffhanger, but ju

I'm somewhere between a 3 to 4 on this one so I'm going to round up. I really enjoyed the premise and the pace of the story. Maggie had been dealt a really bad series of blows and came back to her home town to lick her wounds and regroup. Tucker had known Maggie in his youth and even shared a passionate, albeit brief, kiss with her. After finding out about her return, and what drive her to return, he decides to make her his… which he does fairly quickly. But the secrets of their lives encroach o ...more

I'm not sure why but I had a hard time connecting with these characters. I found myself skimming through a lot of the book. I'm intrigued by all the mystery, but I think more things could have been cleared up before the end of this book, like exactly what happened "the fateful night". The glimpses and bits and pieces were annoying. I think you can keep some mystery but still give your reader more to go on. It was hard to get into Tucker's head without the full picture.

I have enjoyed Eliza’s stories VERY much. I find her stories to be full of passion, especially ones like this one, Tuckers Fall. I get lost when reading her stories. I find myself wishing I was one of the characters in the story. Its intense and mysterious but can also make you laugh. The story line is believable and I will say this book has some hot points. The restaurant scene...yes please, I would like that too...very much!

My first Eliza Gayle read. I wanted to enjoy this. I really did. I liked the foundation of Tucker and Maggie's relationship. I liked Tucker (Maggie, not so much). I liked the BDSM scenes - they were scorching! But I found the development of the plot a little weak and the conflicts implausible and unreasonable, and so they kept me from enjoying it fully.

Recommends it for: people who like light BDSM, people who like a long, gripping story.
My favorite Eliza Gayle book yet. Loved the story, the setting, the characters. Especially Tucker. Just the right amount of BDSM for my taste. Can't wait for the other stories in the Purgatory Masters series. Get on it EG!

So, what happens when you are a professor researching the bdsm lifestyle if a bdsm club? You get arrested of course, lose your job and your husband and run back to your hometown. Luckily for Maggie, Tucker is there and he is a major hottie Dom willing to show her the true delights of the lifestyle.

Maggie is considering writing a tell-all book about the BDSM life and this will ruin any chance of her becoming Tucker's sub. What I don't get is why a supposedly smart woman who has already been disgr
