Strong, interesting characters abound in the second installment of Karen Nichols' Devil Hills series. Luna's character was wonderfully written, vulnerable with a core of solid steel inside. She was certainly my favorite. There was something about her that touched me. Lydia on the other hand was the exact oppisite, steel covering a very vulnerable core. Sage and Jude were just the alpha males that matched the women to perfection. Watching them try to figure out how to protect theses women that ...more

I like writing. I don't have a magic place where the stories or people arrive, other then when I'm asleep, they appear, like movies. Some are simple romances; some involve a messed up family life; some involve outside influences and business and still others might trail along the paranormal or BDSM path.
