So this is the third book by Sara Barton that I have read this weekend. I am still willing to read more of Sara's work. This is the first book in the Gabby Grimm Fairy tale Mystery series. It is different from her Bard Bed & Breakfast.

Shelves: fairy-tale
Gabby Grimm is the only female deputy at Latimer Falls Sheriff’s Department and she is no stranger to working with her seven fellow male companions but her world is forever changed when she receives a kiss from a masked man and the journey into a fairytale begins.

I’m not typically a huge fan of the modern fairytale take but this wasn’t toooo bad. I liked the author’s take on the different fairytale characters and the perspective from Gabby’s point of view. I’m interested to read more of Barton’s
