WATCH OUT DRACULA! There's a woman who can take you on and more! Excellent book! Loved it!

All I have to say is that this book does not disappoint. It starts with the most poignant comment that slavery or being owned was awful. The book is centered around a woman driven not to be owned or used. She was strong, noble, and kind, but she wanted to be free. She would use any means to be free. David Lee Summers doesn't disappoint with this book. I was hooked from the first page and just couldn't put the book down. The book actually hooked me within the first couple pages, which is tough to do for me sometimes! For me, the parts alluding to ancient history were a major high point as ...more
