Okay, I really liked the first book in this time travel series, and I liked this one even more. Intrigue? Yup. Adventures? Oh, yeah. The descriptions of traveling through time are even more vivid than before, only it's become much more dangerous. The characters are just as authentic as before, and their interactions and senses of humor, spot on. And oh, yeah, the story once again does an excellent job of mixing fascinating historical information in with the adventure, too. It (gasp) educates. Ma ...more

Recommends it for: EVERYONE
I came across Keller's series by accident. I am so happy that I did. I was attracted by the book cover.

Initially, I thought this sequel was just going to be a continuation of the first story, but it went even further. By mid-book I was dancing with anticipation.

The framework for time travel is so good that at some points I was literally convinced it was true.

I then read it and promptly forgot to review it. So, here it is better late than never.

The method of time travel still makes me smile – as it seems to be a given that the likely method, if it’s ever found, would be access

I thoroughly enjoyed Keller's first book, Screwing Up Time, so I was excited to read Screwing Up Babylon. I was expecting another interesting story with plenty of twists and turns to keep me going. Well - I got that... and more.

I really, REALLY enjoyed this book. For starters, hanging out in ancient Babylon was awesome. Keller captured the city beautifully and it was easy to picture the characters in that setting.

I found myself liking each character just a little more - especially Miranda. She g
