A brief interlude before the final novel, and this is a 'prequel' of sorts, occurring around the building of the Great Ship of Tersites (a Gorean aircraft carrier analogue), but featuring mostly on an unnamed member of the Caste of Slavers and his pursuit of an Earth woman brought to Gor (by him!) to be a slave. Norman's wry humour gets an outing here quite a bit!

I'm sad theres only one more book to go. I'll miss Tarl Cabot.
