Alright, but not my favorite book by this author.

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...

1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.

2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.

3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by

I really liked this book. It is just my kind of gentle mystery. It had a great sense of place in the Tennessee mountains and a lovely small town feel for the characters and the life. Lewis Wilder is very closed off about who he is and what led him to become the curator of the museum in a small mountain town in Tennessee. Lewis Wilder is happily settling in to his job as curator of the history museum in quaint Nolichucky. Unfortunately, there's a clever thief known as the Fox in the area, and since Lewis is quiet about his background, the rumor mongers associate him with the Fox. His new almost-girlfriend, Marilyn, who runs the local bookstore, and his friend the Reverend George Palmer urge him to face up to his past, but when Lewis decides to do just that, his problems get worse. Delightful.

This was a book I won off goodreads and read in the bathroom in spurts. Molly is an excellent storyteller and writer so really enjoyed reading this one. Its a small town murder mystery with twist and turns and I never guessed who dunnit until it was discovered!

I often skip ahead to see what will happen, but it was harder to do with this book. I did think the author needed to make him a bit more trusting and less angry, although the reasons why may be coming out in another book. It was a good read.
