I need a shelf for 'really weird shit'...
I don't quite know what to say about this story, or even how to explain it. The first book was weird and humorous; this one was was weird and quirky/funny/strange to the point of having a surreal take on the whole thing. I'm aware that this was the authors intent, and she did it really well. I just don't know if it is for me...

Short but sweet sequel to The Hostage Bargain. I enjoyed it and will keep reading the series, which ought to merit a 4 star rating, but I also found the story to be pretty thin and the sex shoehorned into it awkwardly, so I'm dropping it down to three.

Well, I really liked this book too although not as well as The Hostage Bargain. It had more sex (which was very HOT!) but didn't have as much humor from Ice/Melinda so I wasn't as drawn to the story like I was in the 1st book. Still...those GOD robbers were HOT, HOT, HOT! There's just something about a man in a kilt that moves me to look further! LOL!

This series is funny, kind of silly and really hot. It makes me laugh every time. Review to come.
Love this series! This installment was just as entertaining as the first.
