Dizzy was such a fun read! It starts out with lots of chemistry and snark, and ends with a lot of heart, and maybe a couple of tears. I just adored this story!
Ziah is finishing her senior year concentrating on good grades and moving onto to med school with her steady beau, James. The last thing she wants to do is go some drunken party, but her boyfriend and best friend, Alyssa want to go, so she’s there. This is where she runs into Dylan, or rather where he runs into her, spilling beer all ove...more

Both don't do weddings.

”He’s the need and the sparks and the laughter, and he touches my heart in a way it’s never been touched before. It’s terrifying and so honest it makes me dizzy.”
With just enough drama, angst and wedding preparations Dizzy is a fun YA read! I laughed and smiled through each and every page of this book.

Dizzy is a hilarious, fun, and sweet light-reading. Dylan and Ziah are the opposites of each other...they don’t hate each other.... but it will be better to stay away from each other. Despite of their confusing feeling, they find an attractive thing about each other. They become friends in attempt of ruining his brother and her sister’s wedding...there are some funny lines and I must say it was quite funny how Dyln and Ziah try to play nice with their siblings even though they don’t agree with t...more
This book's written in the main protagonists Dylan and and Ziah's dual POVs. Dylan is a playboy who doesn't believe in love as his mom left him with his older brother and dad when he was a kid. Given the fact, he calls themselves as Gibson boys who has a pact of never putting faith on another woman ever again; so when the elder brother, Derrick, drops the bomb of his marriage, Dylan is anything but happy.

When my eyes are forward again, I see her. I'm going to blame it fully on the alcohol, because what else can it be - but I suddenly get a little dizzy. My breath speeds up. She has long, blonde hair. Not super blonde, kind of dark blonde, and big green eyes. She's curvy, and I can't help but stare. I don't know who this girl is, but she's freaking gorgeous in a totally natural way. - Dylan

Dizzy was one of those feel good, fun, light hearted books you read, after you've read something heavy and know you need light! Swapping voices between sexy Dylan and sassy Ziah was a brilliant move, allowing access into both of their heads, as they struggled through accepting love.
It was impossible not to love them both, and feel for them as they journeyed through the chal...more

Ziah And Dylan was such a great combo min this book. They both complimented each other very well. The chemistry between both of them was instant and you felt it all the way to your toes.
It starts with Dylan throwing a party at his house. He's the path guy that only goes for hook ups with no real connections. And then in the middle of this party the crowd parts and Ziah appears. Ziah completely out of her...more

this book is just too cool. i think i am a little dizzy?! anyways...
indeen love at first sight how much one keep on denying it.
Dylan's and Ziah's love story is on a roller coaster ride of emotion.
First there was denial. denial on how they were both attracted to each other, but they keep on denying it because of their own and personal experiences.
Next is anger. Ziah was angry on the fact that Dylan throws his beer over her favorite white shirt. wait, do we really get angry with that little...more
This book makes me soooo Dizzy with happiness.
Dammit book! Where were you all my life? Where were you when I was banging my head on the wall because I was tired of reading horrible characters who make romance=cheese? Where were you when I was a worn out traveller in disguise , in search of books that gave me that kind of lightiness that made me swoon senselessly? WHERE WERE YOU?
Before I start this review , I'm just going to hav...more
What I can say now is that I liked the middle part (Dylan and Ziah had their cute moments when they were trying to figure out their feelings, becoming friends and then maybe something more), but the beginning and the ending.. hmm, it was just too many shades of meh for me.

Indeed - the whole book was a blast. It was a fast read, easy on the heart, and so just worth the time and effort you spent on reading. No reason to be dizzy because Ms. Dawn and Ms. Perry combined their writing talent to produce this amazing, amazing book.

Cute. Light. Definitely chick-lit-ty.
I decided that I would break my reading schedule because my buddy read Stef, told me that it was a very good read. It was definitely such a cute thing :D
Its not everyday that you meet a girl that’s different from most. Especially since she doesn’t like you the very first time she sets eyes on you. Dylan could never forget how that one girl, Ziah. Then the whole wedding his brot...more
This extraordinarily enjoyable read is one that has had me glued to the pages for hours on end, enthralled by Nyrae Dawn’s stunning writing that epitomizes this age-group perfectly. Heartrending and affecting I was lost within an emotive, realistic lover’s tale that professed such truth and which tugs at the heart-strings of human emotion. Character-driven and cleverly crafted (with Jolene Per...more
Dylan and Ziah were fun, cute and adorable together.
dylan enjoys partying and being with girls with no attachments. After his mom left them Dylan and his brother Derrick made a pact that they would never get married. Until now, when Derrick comes home to tell his little brother he found the love of his life and is getting married.
Ziah has a boyfriend who in her mind is safe and stable. one day her sister comes home from college and announce she is getting married, something Zi...more
I loved the alternating points of view. I'm always interested to see how writers tackle male/female, but I felt like this one worked. It was slightly odd that Ziah and Dylan had so many of the same interests, but I felt that their backgrounds and family lives were different enough to provide something extra.

I love nothing more than writing about young adults. There is something so fresh and fun about it. You can pretty much always find me with a book in my hand or open document in front of me.
