Natalie has watched as the zombie plague devastated civilisation.

Angus had been a miracle. Twenty-three years old and gorgeous he had appeared like Romeo from the pool area and thrown supplies up to her balcony. But now Angus is gone – abandoned her, which is probably for the best. She couldn’t stand to watch him die too.

Stranded four floors up and fenced in on all sides b

I see that beside the title there is a (Flesh 2.5), since it is a short story, is it one of those 'in between' books?

I wondered this as I read it.

The reason I wondered, is that quite honestly, other than the steamy sex, I felt no connection to the story what-so-ever and even the sex left little to the imagination as it was meticulously described to the smallest (or biggest, depending on your perception) detail... ;) ... and I like my imagination *grins* cause it takes me to all sorts of fu

No spoilers and colorful language abound!

Truth be told I really enjoy this author and the Flesh series but this was just too damn short. Her books are not particularly long, but 32 pages is hardly enough! Smut in a post apocalyptic zombie infested world?

Fuck yes.

Two things: I love zombie apocalypse books and I love when people in life or death situations get it on. This story gave me BOTH those things. The situation that Natalie found herself in was believable (trapped in the penthouse, safe but unable to escape) and I loved that Angus was all heroic and shoot-y with his big gun. Take that however you want.

A little dark, a little bloody, and a lot sexy, I think I want more in the sexy zombie apocalypse genre now. Not necessarily sexy zombies or anything

This is a short story about Natalie, a woman on holiday at a resort when the apocalpse arrives. People being hit with infection are dying and turning into zombies attacking and turning other people. She's been hiding out and manages to connect with another survivor, Angus, a much younger Australian Football League player. Yum.

Some nice zombie action mixed in with the sexy times. Ends a bit abruptly and it's more of an erotica short than anything else. I'll be picking up the longer zombi

Well, it was kinda sorta hot, but there wasn't really anything to it. Even the sex was kinda quick and lame. In the end, I resented spending a buck on it. Which is sad.

This is a short (30 pages) novella in the world of the Flesh series by Kylie Scott. It can easily be read as a standalone, especially if you're familiar with The Walking Dead-type stories.

Natalie is 31. She's been holed up in a high rise condo since the end of the world. Her boyfriend is long since dead, not that she cares so much now, the arrogant cuss. He was only concerned with how much she weighed and never her feelings. But Natalie has an inherent fear of heights, and being barricaded in he

In the early days of a Zombie plague, a young man attempts to rescue a woman trapped in the penthouse of a luxury resort.

I loved Kylie Scott's FLESH and SKIN. This short story takes place in the same fictional universe, but at a distant location. There's a good concept here. Natalie is trapped on an upper floor, and the only other survivor at the resort is a young university student named Angus, who finally decides to mount a rescue. Unfortunately, the premise never really moves past a basic Cou

This is a great little side dish to go with Flesh, Kylie's full length novel of the Zombie Apocalypse. Natalie and Angus holidayed separately at Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast when the plague hit, taking out their companions. The story starts partway through, with Natalie believing the young man she'd been talking to through a walkie talkie had gone and left her.

We pick up when Angus returns, fully equipped with shotgun to take out the zombies and condoms to take Natalie. This is a very hot, ex

This was too short! Only 25 pages on my Kindle and I already want more of Angus. Angus is a horrible name from my North American POV, but he was so cute. He was 10 years younger than the heroine and she felt like a dirty old lady for it, but he wanted her and he thought she was beautiful and it was adorable! It was so cute how he was so excited to finally be with her that he was shaking like he was 16. :P Although it was also the adrenaline from fighting the zombies.

He said he heard about a wall
This was a great short story. I just loved Natalie and Angus and I'm hoping Kylie gives us more of their story. Maybe they can join up with the Flesh series since they seem to be the same world... :D

The description pretty much tells the tale. Angus and Natalie were both survivors of a Zombie Apocalypse. Natalie is trapped in an upstairs apartment and Angus comes to save her. Once Angus gets to Natalie, there's some hot sex and ends with them together, heading out to find more survivors. It's a g

Love this series.....unfortunately this novella did not do it justice. The zombies and the apocalypse storyline were merely a back drop for the sex. So if you're looking for a quick erotic read check this one out, but if you're a fan of the Flesh series and looking for more of the hot, hilarious, and action packed fun of the previous books do yourself a favor - skip this and wait for book 3.
Nicely done short short story in the zombie apocalypse world. Short and fun and too the point. Still with vivid imagery of the zombie ridden world. The hero was super sweet and I love the way he cared about the heroine.

Kylie Scott is my girl!

Hot smexy romance and bloody zombie carnage. Not in the same room, thank god. I cannot wait to read more by this author - she's a definite buy for me.

I really liked this story but it was much too short. I wanted to know how they got out of that room and where they went. It was too, too short.

The Delight

Quick, erotic, action with a side of sweetness. Zombies run amok and so Angus is to the rescue!

Room with a View starts 38 days after the apocalypse started and people turned into zombies. Set on the coast of Kings Beach where dead bodies had started to wash away. Yeah, kind of gross.

Natalie is surviving four flights up in a penthouse her dead boyfriend just had to have. Sean wasn't a real stand up guy, but tormented Natalie about

Set in the same post-apocalyptic world as Flesh (which is on my TBR pile) this little short story takes the reader on a whistle-stop tour of the relationship of Natalie and Angus. Natalie was on holiday over Christmas with her boyfriend (who sounds like a piece of work, so not sad he was eaten by a zombie) when the apocalypse struck and most of the population were turned into zombies. At 21 pages, there is no time for significant world building so I don’t know the origins of the virus (I suspect ...more

It is important to note that the books in this set of books (Hot Down Under-they are not connected just all hot) is that they are very short! Like less than 30 pages. Sometimes I have trouble getting into shorter books like this but I went into this expecting it to be short and it worked well for me. In Room With A View an infection has hit and most of civilization had been turned into mindless zombies. Natalie and Angus have only been speaking to e

I won this on a twitter promo from Momentum books one day. Scott is one of their authors and her world is that of adult romance in a zombie infested Australia. It’s different. Flesh was set in this world, too.
Natalie is stuck in an apartment block. She’s scared of heights and has some water stored and a pile of canned goods and snack bars in the cupboards. But she’s not in a good way. She’s alone, full of self-doubt and fear. Noise attracts the zombies and there’s no way she can get out through

Hot Down Under -

Smokin hot love scenes, Zombies, gore, action and A Room with a View. !

Angus and Natalie have been sharing conversation via walky talky for a few weeks. Natalie is trapped in Her Room with A View waiting for Angus to return ...

He strolls back in haunch,, pumped and hot !!

The fun and hot sex begin ! Angus was certainly an eager beaver well prepared for not only the zombies but for a long haul of hot sex with Natalie !!

Room with a view is a short Zombie erotica ! Filled with sex

In a Futurama episode, Alcazar explained he was cleaning a pool, and emerged to find his planet destroyed. As I began reading Kylie Scott's Room with a View, I remembered that scene. I giggled.

In every story, but in a short story especially, every scene should advance the plot. And if it doesn't, delete it. And thus Room with a View is guilty of a gratuitous sex scene. Angus battles Infected to get to Natalie, they shag, then plan to escape together. Short on plot, indeed, and the shagging doesn

"Room with a View" is a short story in this same vein as "Flesh" and "Skin", meaning there are zombies and sex but as long as it isn't about zombies having sex then I'm a happy camper. Hehe.

I enjoyed the story of Natalie and Angus. There was something sweet about how their paths crossed, how their friendship grew, and what he did for her. Le sigh. However, the end had me going, "NOOOOO!" I was left hanging! I wanted more, darn it! If I beg Kylie Scott enough, can we, at the very least, hope for

Natalie is a thirty something staying locked in her balcony apartment overlooking the pool. Occasionally she spots her friend Angus who chucks her up some supplies while dodging or slaying zombies. There comes a day when young Angus cuts a path to her building and climbs up

Considering this book was written in '12 I think that means there won't be any more in the series, so I'm going to just say this book may have happened in the same world, but it wasn't connected in any way besides sex and zombies.

It's just a quick sexy story, real quick, like a 10-20 minute read so I don't really think it's worth it unless you just wanted a little sex scene to read or something (because it's just one sex scene and a tiny conversation honestly). If it was previous chara

I love Room With A view: Hot Down Under. It's raw, wild and funny even as the end of the world draws nigh. If you've enjoyed Scott's book, Flesh, you'll love visiting the same wolrd again. If you haven't, go read Flesh too!

Natalie shares the same bravery as Ali (from Flesh). Angus is younger than Natalie, athletic and optimistic (he brought how many condoms with him!?!?). Even as zombies surround them, Natalie and Angus make sure life is worth fighting for.

This is a great story. Enjoy :)

Zombies plus erotic romance. Thankfully not erotic romance with the Zombies. An interesting short based on the larger Zombie cursed world of Scott's novel Flesh.

Feels as though it could be an introductory chapter to a longer work but then I am not sure that we can necessarily judge the construction of erotic short fiction the same as other short fiction. It's purpose is chiefly to arouse and to do so while convincing us that the characters could be real people in real situations. I think Scott
A short story in the same setting as the other Flesh books. It can be read as a stand alone. The only thing connectiong this with the other books is the apocalypse setting.

I really liked it, just remember this is a short story.

If you liked it, make sure you read Flesh and Skin
