Good book. This had a different type of plot, involving Sara going back in time to the day she met Jack. He had been killed a few months before leaving her pregnant with his child. While on the way to the hospital she crashed, then woke up months earlier. Now she has a chance to change the outcome of their relationship. I really liked both Jack and Sara. Jack was recovering from his war injuries and back working for the family business. When he met Sara he felt close to her right away. They seem...more
In York’s romantic suspense novel, Sara Carter can remember driving to the hospital, a snowstorm, going into labor, and then crashing. When she regains consciousness, she is not longer pregnant and it is once again the day she met her baby’s father. She had lost him once and it seemed that fate was giving them a second chance.
From the moment Jack meets Sara he is overwhelmed with the feeling they’ve met before. At the first touch, she reawakens feelings that have been dormant for far too long. B...more

Recommends it for:
Romance and suspense lovers, second chances
If you had the chance to go back in time to one point in time of your life would you? Sara Carter gets that chance in Rebecca York’s book Her Baby’s Father.
Sara was driving to the hospital in labor by herself on a dark snowy night after going into labor. Sara wanted one thing the most and she couldn’t have that. The man she loved, the father of her baby, but fate was going to give her a second chance however. She is returned to ten months before the beginning of the book to the day she meet Jac...more

Although I initially liked the premise, the storyline became implausible. Who does not carry and charge their cellphone anymore, especially knowing he or she is being hunted by a killer? Referring to the killer as "Nemesis" was ridiculous and campy in this sort of book. The killer also planned to have two shootings be passed off as accidents although how is not explained. If the author or editing had been terrible enough to cause me not to care about the miller's identity this book would have be...more
I've read other books by Ms. York. This was one that I had trouble getting into. The characters were well thought out. The main theme behind the plot was what gave me trouble. I've read other books involving time travel. There was just something about it this time that didn't feel right. Good story line but timing just felt slightly off.
