Norma Smith
Hot Like Fire by Vera Roberts, Was A quick, sweet romance to read. If you are looking for a love story that is Not full of alot of sex and down right nasty, This one is for you. I loved it. The Story of Erica and Tino is a story to follow, because you see the buliding of a romance without the sex right away. They take the time to get to know each other without rushing things. Eria is a very smart young lady not looking for love, out of fear of getting hurt again by a man. Tino is a strong, sexy l...more

Not as I expected- BRAB Online Book Club

I am a fan of Vera Roberts but was a bit disappointed in this novella. Tion and Erica's story is a sweet love story but lacked the chemistry and heat that I'm accustomed to.

Even though this is a short book, the story still resonates nonetheless! I love how fated Tino and Erica were and even more so that they chose to take their time with cultivating the relationship! This was a great short steamy read. Though being so short, you're not given much time to connect/relate to the characters, but if you just want something short that will make you smile or turn up the heat, this is perfect. A sexy fireman, a smart vet, and a cuddly kitten. What more do you need?

I would have given this story a higher rating if it were steamier. The S&M series made me assume this would be erotica also. This isn't the authors fault. If you prefer the softer side of romance this might be up your alley.

A sweet and clean romance. Something different in the IR genre.
