I’ve previously had that in my life, but only once, briefly, a while ago. It was during the time I’d started my first year of college. My own apartment, a new old car, and a life free of deadbeat stepfathers, all of which was fulfilling enough. But if it wasn’t, I also had a best friend, soul mate, and boyfriend all in one. Yes, life was near perfect.

But one storm

What to say about Reaction..... Well it is totally EPIC! I have never ever read a love story that has torn me up. I laughed and I cried and I screamed at the book because there was so much raw emotions in it. The author has done a great job ending this series and I have to say at times I did not think there was going to be a happily ever after. For most books I don't care either way but this book pulled on my heart and I wanted no I needed Heather and Nick to be together. They had suffered throu ...more
Heather woke from her coma but now everything is different. Almost three years have passed and her boyfriend is now engaged. She is going back to college but finding it difficult to move on when she feels like she just fell in love. During her coma she relived her first six months of college and falling in love with Nick. She doesn't want to give him up. Does she move on or fight for a taken man?

Heather was lucky enough to have Creed with her every step of the way. Creed visited Heather in the h
If the New Adult trend appeals to you, or you’re interested in more mature YA reads, especially those set in college (okay, who are we kidding. It’s NA), then the Reflections series are for you. I’m going to do my review for both books in one, because you probably don’t want to hear me gushing twice. So my review to Reaction will just be a follow on from my review for Reflection.

To begin, this series is amazing. Roberts takes a topic that at times seems over done (the shy college girl falling fo

As seen on Ed and Em's Reviews!

This review will have some spoilers from the first book.

Reaction is the second and final(?) novel in the Reflection series. I really enjoyed the first book and was curious about how things would resolve in this one. Plus, I'm a little obsessed with these covers! I mean, talk about gorgeous!

Reaction is a wonderful addition to this series. In fact, I'd say I enjoyed it even more than the first part of this story. I finished it in mere hours because I JUST. HAD. TO. K

I absolutely loved this sequel to Reflection by Jessica Roberts because my heart was wondering what will happen between Nick and Heather! This book was unputdownable because I really loved the first novel Reflection. In Reaction, Roberts put the reader in suspense in wondering if Heather will have her happy ending after what happened at the end of Reflection!. I could talk about how much I loved this book and the characters all day! There were some tears along the way.

I thought this book was well written. It was a very easy read, a love story that I think any teen/college age girl would love, or older women like me who just likes an easy fun love story. The main character, Heather, suffers and accident and is in a coma for 2 1/2 years, when she comes out of it she finds out her boyfriend in college thought she just left without saying goodbye, didn't know she had been in a coma this whole time. He is now engaged and she still loves him, as apparantly he does ...more

Basically, I don’t even know where to begin with this review, so forgive me if it’s one hundred percent gushing with a good bit of vagueness thrown in for good measure. It’s no secret that I absolutely loved the first book because Nick is mine, but I was an absolute bundle of nerves with how

I didn't like this sequel as much as the first one. I suppose it's because cheating is always a difficult subject, and if you don't handle it well, it's all sorts of awkward and unromantic.

I love that Heather doesn't beat around the bush. I was worried that this book would contain a lot of that. Fortunately, she says what she's thinking and kicks the misunderstandings out the window. I love how she doesn't have any airs.
Nick really has changed. Instead of being a silent farmboy without

In the beginning, I felt like this sequel didn't get a grip on the mood of the first book all that well. But, it got better as the story processed, and once it was revealed what Heather's reaction actually was (and it was a good one, believe me! Sort of predicatble, but not if you didn't really wanted it to be), the atmosphere fell back into place perfectly and was quite like in Reflection. Thus, the arc of suspense was quite well developed, just as in the first book, a job well done.

When I received Nereyda’s email for the Reaction blog tour, I was screaming and jumping up and down (don’t you love when a book can make you do that?). I loved Jessica Roberts’s first novel Reflection. In Reflection, Roberts had me in total suspense, wondering what the truth was in Heather's life. But with Reaction, Roberts put me on an insane, emotional roller coaster. I didn't know how Heather's love for Nick would turn out, not till the end. Reaction made me scream, cry, and beg for Heather.
Oh my goodness, first let me say, it was just wonderful to come back to Heather's and Nick's story because I remember reading Reflection, and towards the end, there are just so much realizations on Heather's part because she realizes that she has been in a Coma for almost three years, and her boyfriend, the love of her life, had no idea she was in a Coma, and thought of some silly theory that she ran away to get married to Heather's best friend, Creed. Oh. My. Word. Really? Well, because of that ...more

The first thing I have to say about Reaction is that if you haven't read Reflection first, do it. I'm sure you could figure out pretty quickly what was going on, but the emotional impact is so much more knowing what Heather has gone through.

Reaction picks up only weeks after Reflection ended, jumping right into Heather's life as she leaves the hospital and giving us drama right away. I love happy endings and while Reflection didn't exactly give us that, Reaction starts off with the slightest hin

I really loved this book. Its a must read but not as a stand alone. The series as a whole is such a beautiful story. It was a very emotional read. i had already cried by 8%. I loved Heather and Nick as well as Creed and Liv. Liv really stood out to me in this book. This is such an interesting story and this book is alot less confusing then the first. My stomach was in knots most of the book though because I was nervous as to what and how much of the story was the "reaction". The epilogues was on ...more

I read the first book, Reflection, for a blog tour (read the review here!), and guess what happened after I was finished?
Like a good little stalker blogger I started stalking the author visited author's homepage and sent her a review request for the second book. I think it was 9 pm, and I should've went to bed, since I had to work next morning, but of course I was glued to my computer, hitting F5 over and over again. And

I love a good love story and one the stems from friendship and those that you truly have to fight for, are always the best ones, because truly, all great loves should come from great friendship and nothing worth fighting for should ever be easy.

I fell in love with Roberts' writing after reading the first book in this duology, Reflection. The writing and story was just beautiful and so lyrical that it completely captivated me. The ending left me reeling and sadly feeling at a loss as to what to

After really loving Reflection, I was so eager to read more. The cliffhanger at the end of the first book drove me crazy, so I was super excited to be able to participate in this blog tour.
And guys, you have to read this second book.

I’m being honest when I say that I loved Reaction even more than I loved Reflection. Heather has finally awoken from her coma, and she’s back in the real world now. But three years have passed since she’s talked with any of her friends (or him) and she has no idea h

I was soooooo excited to start Reaction by Jessica Roberts. I said it my review of Reflection, and I’ll say it again…I love the story of Heather and Nick. The story in Reaction kept my emotions right on the surface, with tears constantly sitting in my eyes blurring my reading experience, and embedded itself into my heart. If you thought Reflection was an unforgettable story, what you will find in Reaction will blow you away.

Basically starting right where Reflection left off, we witness the jerky

Did I enjoy this book: This was a good sequel and conclusion to this series. It wasn't a book that I had to read every free chance I had. But it kept me engrossed enough to want to read through it in a short amount of time.

Reaction picks up right where Reflection left off. After waking from a coma, Heather realized everyone and everything has changed. When she left the hospital, she had to go out and try to get her life back. Everything came back to her easily. She went and registered for classes again, went to talk to her old boss, and even went to see Liz. The only person that didn't come back to her was Nick. Heather finds out Nick is engaged and getting married in December. Will Heather fight to get Nick back ...more

The love story between Nick and Heather couldn't feel more real or in this case lack there of. The premise seems totally real and really imaginative. I don't know if I could stand to be in Heather's shoes as she wakes up from her coma. I don't even know if I could attempt to be as strong as her when it comes to matters of the heart. I was so very pleased with the ending of the story too! I was so emotionally attached to this story, I didn't want it t

Compared to its prequel, REFLECTION, REACTION definitely has a different feel to it. While the first book really developed Heather and Nick’s relationship, REACTION doesn’t start happily, but with a lot of raw emotion. Even though the two books were different, I definitely still enjoyed REACTION!

One of the best things about Jessica Roberts’ works is her ability to really connect me to her characters. There was a lot of emotion and rea
Update: November 7th, 2012

I had to re-read Reflection because I forgot most of it. I forgot how long Reflection was!

I loved Reaction. I really did. It was so emotional. Much more so than Reflection. I thought I was going to have an anuerysm!

I loved the conversations between Heather and Nick. I loved that he was still in love with her after three years. I knew that once she went to the house he was building, that fireplace would be there.

But I wanted more interaction with Heather and Nick. In

I read Reflection this week for this blog tour, and I loved it! So I was very happy to be able to dig into the final book in this duology (I think...). This series offers a very unique aspect on what it feels like, to fight for love.
Minor spoilers if you have not read the first book in the series, Reflection (find my review here).

I loved Reflection so I was hoping for everything and more when I started reading Reflection and I still can say Jessica exceeded my expectations! Reflection was amazing! It took me on a rollercoaster of emotions. Filled with love, jealousy, and heartbreak, Reaction is a book anybody will love.

Yes, this book was amazing too! This is the sequel to "Reflection"

This follow up takes us from the cliffhanger in the first book to a very satisfying end. We get a HEA in this and it could not have ended any other way. There was a few plotting issues here and some things that easily could have been left out but they were easy to get over.
What do you do when one person has moved on and you cannot? To Heather it was still a very new relationship but almost three years have passed for Nick. He was
It was a good romance novel but fell short on the "reaction" plot . You keep waiting for something big [ coma related ] to keep happening but nothing earth shaking happens (view spoiler) . The title of the book is a bit misleading as the entire book deals with Heather's relationship with Nick and his with Paige and then Heather's with Creed with a few doc visits in between.
All that being said , I loved how there was no overly bitchiness
This book was freaking GOLDEN! What an emotional ride!
After the continuing right after the first one the emotions were raw, I didn't know what to expect next!
This book had me in knots, that's for sure! It was crazy, the tears never stopped coming especially during the first half of the book! I was crying my eyes out at 10AM in the morning for goodness sake!
Crap, I'm blabbing right now but who cares!
I like this better than the first one too, since the story telling wasn't as confusing.

A good sequel. I knew the beginning wasn't going to be pleasant as Heather wakes up and everything has changed... but hoped it would turn out OK :-p

Heather wakes up from her coma and Nick did go on with his life without her (as did everyone).... So she has to face that a lot of things happened during her absence, and has to go on with her life!

I couldn't put the book down. Jessica Roberts writes here a really good story, I loved her characters and writing. Some parts were really frustrating, as
