Friendship emergencies. Now, since Kate , Zoey's best friend, gets her braces off, she turns to be pretty. And Libby become cautious towards Zoey because she has a famous aunt, who is a designer.

I like that this book is about sewing, sewing, sewing.. but at the same time it tackles the friendship issue as well.

Zoey enters a designer competition, and I love that her designs are inspiring for tweens (even in real life)!

Anyway, because it is a Sew Zoey book, all things turn well in the end.

Oh.. and

Zoey is making new friends, writing her fashion blog, and meeting a real fashion designer. Her life seems to be just about perfect. But when the fashion designer recommends that Zoey enter a fashion designer contest things begin to unravel. Zoey can’t figure out why her friends are upset with her. Suddenly repairing her friendships seem much more important than winning the designing contest. Young readers will be drawn to the story that is written from Zoey’s point of view. Fashion and friendships both are causing problems for Zoey in the second book. Zoey entered a really big fashion competition but her main stress was trying to figure out what was going on with her best friend Kate.

This was a really cute and fun book that has interesting characters.

This is a really nice and cute story for middle grade readers. I am a lot older than the target ready group but I believe that if this series had been around when I was a child then I would have read them all. It's a safe series for children. This is the second book in the series and is better than the first. A nice book about a girl who loves sewing and fashion designing but isn't over the top.

Very cute.

Zoey is an ambitious 5th grader who enters a nation-wide design/sewing contest.

She has a fashion blog and parts of the book are parts of her blog.

Friendship problems abound, but Zoey handles everything with energy, resourcefulness, and grace.
