This Harlequin Romantic Suspense novel kept my attention throughout. Most of the characters are well drawn and multidimensional, although a couple of minor ones are rather flat. Just like Sawyer's other books, Kiss of Death is just as absorbing from beginning to end. Narration changes between characters and we learn more about the story from their angle. perhaps it is due to my advanced age--just had another birthday--but with this book I found that i was having trouble keeping the three couples who are characters straight as to who was who.
the plot was interesting, and i had never heard the term "pet concierge," which i have already managed to work into a conversation. this was a book sale purchase, but i might try another meryl sawyer to see if it is more plausible.

This was a great book that unfortunately took me quite longer to read due to other affairs I had going on!
