I swear to God, this book should come with a care package – tequila, Valium, a stress ball and a punching bag. Just sayin’ !!

This review has no plot-related spoilers in it. Rating: 4.5 stars.

Honestly, when I was about to start reading this, I was just wondering where on EARTH could the story go from that point?? How could the mindfuck POSSIBLY get any deeper?

The facts were there. Actions had been taken. And I was absolutely positive that I hated Tony Rawlings. Like really, really hated!! I w...more

And the game continues.....

Actions and their consequences are just one side of a coin. The side which receives light.

On the other side, lying in the shadows is the ...TRUTH behind those actions which resulted in those CONSEQUENCES.

By the end of the first book we saw how Anthony Rawlings(Tony),the utterly cruel, conniving and manipulative devil played the game to perfection. He had his vengeance. And it appeared that as his last move,he disclosed all his pieces to Claire.

At last everything was clear....more

**Please bear with me. This review might just end up being a bunch of rambling. My brain has just been thoroughly screwed and I am unsure if I am capable of any coherent thought processes. I am also going to try and write a review without any spoilers. Both Consequences and Truth deserve to be read with no preconceptions or hints as to what is going to happen. Thank you.

Some of the emotions I felt while reading this book...

Just like Consequences, the first part of this highly enticing, fascinating and mind-boggling series, Truth (again) left me speechless, shocked and just emotionally exhausted after finishing it. It also left me in awe of the amazing writer that is Aleatha Romig, for creating such a marvelous story that can make you feel so many emotions during such a short period of time.

After you've dealt with the Consequences, prepare yourself to fac...more

FIVE MIND BLOWING STARS

Whoa! Being that it is 2:26 A-fucking-M, and I just finished this brilliant mind fuck, my review is coming...tomorrow. AFTER, I get about 3.2 hours of sleep, of which I'm sure will be consumed with Mr. Anthony Rawlings & Ms. Claire Rawlings Nichols. Oh, and the evil puppeteer. Fuck me up side the head! I am amazed, shocked, baffled, and down right in awe at this series.

How EXACTLY does one go about writing a review about such a mysterious and complicated story line without giving anything away? I’m not sure, because I am still trying to figure that out…

After pondering TRUTH and everything that has transpired in the Rawlings’ world, I’m not certain I am in any better frame of mind to review this book any more than I was a few days ago, but I am going to try. I do think it is important to note to the readers that this is a trilogy that you have to read in order,...more

What lies behind Appearance is usually another Appearance.

The saga continues..........

Anthony Rawlings : The diabolical character whose true face had been revealed by the end of Consequences.....whose vendetta for vengeance had led to consequences so monstrous that it had left me stunned, gaping and still with shock......is once again not who he truly seems to be.

Truth is the second installment of the 'out of the box' Consequences Trilogy. Consequences 1 was a good read, but the ending made the first book amazingly unforgettable. I am always so leery of sequels. Many are just “fillers” until the third book in the trilogy comes out. I hate that. However, that was not in the case with Truth.

I loved it!!!!

The second book in the Consequences series was so well written, so original; I loved the twists and turns. Just when I thought I had everything figured there was an unexpected twist.

I am emotionally invested in the lives of Claire and Tony. I don't know if I will regret saying this, but I started to like Tony. Yes, I know...more

Well, well, well this sequel DOES NOT disappoint! Truth was a fast paced heart pounding read. My opinions of old characters especially Antony Rawlings have changed…maybe I even like him. Yep, I know crazy but true.

Claire Nichols seeks revenge and the truth this time around. She has put on her detective hat and made some new friends. She has decided to figuratively play game of chess with Tony. This game between Claire and Tony gets pretty intense and definitely excit...more

GENIUS!

Am going to keep this short and sweet.

This book had me on tenter hooks from page one, ever since my stomach has been in knots at the risk of getting an ulcer and I found myself grinding my teeth even when not sleeping, if I'd had a nail biting habit am sure I'd be doing that as well.

Do I need to say it? I loved, loved this book. It kept me engrossed to the point that I couldn't get on with my daily life, my emotions were all over the place and toward the end I didn't want the story to fin

Things are not always what they seem the first appearance deceives many... well, isn't that the TRUTH. I find it difficult to review a book like this because you don't want to spoil a thing for any other reader about to embark on this emotional journey. Truth. What a powerful word and one that describes perfectly this book.

In Consequences, Claire had to go through many terrible things and some blissful moments all in the hands of Anthony Rawlings. Third, you're sorry for lying to me, pretending you cared and oh yearh, marrying me. Fourth, listen carefully Tony, this is the big one...you're sorry for framing me for attempted murder, resulting in incarceration in a federal penitentiary."
"I am deeply sorry for one and four. I did provide you with an alternative destination for number four. I am not proud of two, but three would never have happened without it. I am not, and never will be sorry for three. And, for the record, I never lied about or pretended to love you. I didn't realize it at first, but I have loved you since before you knew my name.
