What can I say... Oh I wrote it so I think it is awesome!

I won an ARC of this book on the author’s Facebook page and was really excited to start it right away. The cover was one of the very first things I noticed about the book and it really drew me in. Quite honestly, there is nothing better than a super sexy cover and this author definitely has that. I found the book to be incredibly steamy and I loved that. There was sex everywhere!!! And when I say everywhere; I mean EVE-RY-WHERE!! Brandon and Spencer the main characters, have amazing chemi

I was given an ARC for an honest review.

I personally struggled with this book a bit. While reading I felt like the entire book was revolving around the sex scenes, but the author had an actual story line going with the book with a LOT happening. The only problem was the the storyline was so rushed (nothing to do with the length of the book or timing in the book) but it was like it skimmed over it so much I couldn't feel the emotions and couldn't connect with the characters.

The characters fell in

The author provided me a beta copy of Where I Need to Be for my honest thoughts on how things were progressing, the book was done :), and my thoughts on the book itself. After providing that I'm now able to post my review since the book will be released on December 15, 2012. I'm so excited to be able to share this with everyone...........

Do you want a book that has those first glances, first eye contact you know the thrill of the stranger you see at the gym that smiles at you and in that brief e

I am an admitted cover whore. When I was perusing Amazon's site, looking for something new and fresh to read, the first thing that caught my eye was the hot cover. Now that covers are being Fifty Shaded to death, I flock to the sexy man chest covers now more than ever. Plus the short blurb was interesting. Scorned woman goes to Vegas to soothe her wounded heart. Good times will follow. It's a win-win, right? WRONG!

The blurb is misleading. Yes, Spencer and Ryan go to Vegas but that trip is a smal
I also had the awesome privilege of getting an ARC copy of this book. Guess who was up until 3am after promising I wouldn't? That'd be me! Once I started it, there was no stopping it.
Without spoiling, it's hot, surprising, and had twists that I didn't see coming. The characters and scenes are described so well that I could actually envision everything.
This book was GREAT and everyone needs to buy a copy when it comes out! It definitely made me ready for what's beyond this book. I just wish it h

This one totally lost me. The relationship between the characters just felt totally off. I they danced around each other (metaphorically ) for a while - then there was some weird interaction in Vegas - and then all the sudden it's spending every night together and declarations of undying love after just a couple of weeks. It just felt totally unnatural. I don't understand the point of the whole Trevor/Max story line which looked like it might somewhere - but totally got dropped. And the whole "c ...more
I had the honor of getting an early copy from Kimberly and let me tell you, I just finished this and already I NEED part two! Where I Need to Be has EVERYTHING I looks for in a book; a strong heroine, a freaking hot as hell man, sex that'll make your toes curl coupled with romance and drama! And I also now HAVE to go to Vegas namely Lavo, the nightclub and hope to hell I'd have luck like Spencer lol
The B&S series seems like a fitting name for the books. They really are a load of BS. Or at least the first book is.

I don't think I've ever read a book more impersonal than this one. I learned everything about what people were doing or saying. I know what they were wearing, and I know that money was important to the heroine. I did however never find out what she was really thinking or feeling, even though the story was written in 1st person from her POV. I just know she cared about everyone
Okay first off I have to say I was kinda put off with the fact that the main chick had a dudes name and on top of that her bff also had a dudes names. What are the odds? Maybe that's why they became bff's?
Anyhoo that didnt stop me from enjoying this book. In fact I loved it!

The mysterious guy Spencer meets at the gym seems to keep popping up everywhere she goes. Especially in her dreams. She cant stop thinking about him.
Spencer just recently found her loser of an ex banging his secretary and w

The novel is centred around Spencer, the poor girl who has just caught her boyfriend of 2 years cheating. She joins her local gym and sees Brandon, the hottie. They don't speak but meet in Vegas where they have a hot dance and he leaves but then they meet again etc.

I was so disappointed as this book came recommended to me. For me, there was no depth of character. Both Spencer and Brandon did't seem to have much personality and their romance (once they got round to speaking) progressed e

This is a book that I just couldn't connect with. I tried hard to get into it but no it wasn't for me.

First of all I think my biggest problemm was the names of the characters. I know it was different spin on it but it just made me feel unconnected and I had to reread their descriptions again to make sure i understood which one was the male and which the female.

I felt the blurb was a bit ambigious. The reader is made to believe Vegas is where everything happens but she had already met the "hero"

This book is smokin' and a definite must read for any lover of romance or erotic fiction. Most women can relate to Spencer, the heroine, and would love to have a friend like her sidekick and partner in crime, Ryan. And who wouldn't die to have a guy like Brandon in their gym and then get to dance like that with him in Vegas? Woo, turn on your fans, ladies! Cuz if you thought the teaser was hot, you ain't seen nothin' yet!
This book was short and sweet.

I liked Spencer and Brandon. Spencer was getting out of a 2 year relationship and being cheated on. Brandon is a super hot guy she runs into at the gym.

My favorite line of the book as she runs on the treadmill and is texting her friend:
OMFG, I have my very own Gideon Cross at the gym. Hot guy running on the treadmill next to me!

Their flirting at the beginning was really cute and they have good chemistry. Brandon was a total sweetheart and the perfect man. He just ha
I have to admit, I didn't expect this book to be sooo good. I felt anxious from half the book until the end; I even bite my nails. I was like WHAAAA?!! I can say I even prayed for Spencers sake. Everything was too good to be true and then WHAM.! Unexpected turn of events.

What I liked about "Where I need to be", is that the author gave us a down to earth story with real life scenarios. The story takes place in San Francisco, California so that gives us a reference of where the Characters are from

This book didn't start my 2013 off well. I was completely mislead by the description. I was expecting a fun-filled story about two girls in Vegas. Instead I got a few pages about them in Vegas which were mediocre. And the guy she meets there? The main character sees him at her gym prior to the trip and he happens to be there the same weekend and they finally "meet". The story moves way too quickly and there are too many details unnecessary to plot development. The characters lack any real depth ...more

the names were kinda weird sometimes i forget who was who . very confusing actually .

the plot was weird too , in crucial moments where i wanted to experience certain elements i was told about it . i felt this put me off completely cause the girl's mind was just going on and on with chatter .i couldn't feel the relationship and there wasn't enough agnst for me to root for them has a couple. the baby plot was so

WARNING - I have gotten this as a book recommendation by someone I do not know who has a blocked profile and seems like it was randomly created for this. I seriously hope that the author had nothing to do with this. Issues like this mass spamming random people for book recommendations makes me not want to read the next book by this author. She is lucky that I am not taking off my star rating.

This was a fairly good book overall.

The main thing that bugged me was the constant
Barely 3 stars.

This book was entirely too descriptive but not. Does that make sense because I don't think this book made a whole lot of sense.

I knew exactly what the main character was wearing at all times. I even knew which drawer the clothes came out of. However, I had no idea what any of the characters looked like. To pay that much detail to every.single.little.thing and I couldn't tell you what anyone looked like, is really sad.

This book had so much potential. I even had it on my to read
I really enjoyed this book. I loved the friendship between Ryan and Spencer, love the referral to another famous book boyfriend as a description for Brandon. Loved that Brandon was totally dedicated and infatuated with Spencer. If you like lots of hot sex, this is your book. Congrats Kimberly :)

Wow this book was not good. I'm struggling to think of anything I did like about it, besides the fact that it was short so I was done with it quickly. Everything else was just bad. The writing itself was not good. I am not a writer. Not at all. I write things like this, but it is just written like I think. Well this book is like I write a trip report or something, but turned into a book. It was like an outline with bullet points turned into sentences. And then we we

I was given the chance to speak with Kimberly and receive an ARC to review and promote during her tour, and let me just say I am not disappointed. The cover was the first thing that caught my attention can you all say with me damn . . . its okay you may take a little break if you wish to share at the cover again I know I have.

You start off this Book with Spencer and you arsehole of a boyfriend, did anyone else feel the urge to give him a good slap or was it just me? Understandably Spencer is mo

So, if this is the erotica I keep hearing raves about it must be a poor example. The sex is bland. It's kind of like "we've been married way too long" vanilla sex. It's all routine, scripted, boring. And the weird forced dry humping that starts the ball rolling was just icky.

Spencer and Ryan are besties and they live together and they both just went through break-ups so they decide to put the ice-cream down and go to

Seriously, if the sex scenes could get any hotter, I might have to make my hubs quit his job. lol

Okay, really though, I found some parts of this book to be a little unnecessary, ex: full detail about texas hold 'em poker. I suppose that some might find it a good detail but I think it was needless. There were a couple of other things I found sort of silly, but I couldn't put this book down. It was written in a way that sort of just grabs you and sucks you in until you know what's goin

Where I Need To Be by Kimberly Knight is the first book in the Trilogy, B&S Series. This is a short book and considered to be a Novella. It has realistic characters, highly sexual love scenes and a little mystery mixed in.

Spencer is an intelligent but damaged heroine. As you are introduced to her she is in the midst of a broken heart and attempting to learn to move on with her life. She kee
This read a bit like a short story from a creative writing course, padded to make it more book length. It was VERY Mary Sue - you couldn't connect with the lead character as she was very under developed - I don't really know anything about her beyond being good looking and liking to party and getting soooooooo drunk after 5 drinks that she drunk texts men about threesomes that she doesn't remember doing the next day. She hasn't really had to overcome anything in life (well, a break up with a guy ...more
