This was a good edition to the series. Dom and sub combos with no real scenes. I liked both couples. Michael's teased me showing Herc and Mal. I would love to have seen a scene with those two again.

Sean Michael had done it again! Angel enters the Velvet Glove sedated. Jax relies on a friend, Malachi, to find the right man to help A

- I love stories in which one character is ill in some way, whether physical or mental, and the other helps to nurse him back to health. Angel is so exhausted by his most recent tour that he can’t even speak, and Roland’s tough love is just the thing he needs to get better.
- Michael does a good job of capturing the attitude of a prima donna character who’s used to getting everything he asks for. I chuckled m

Two pairings again, although this time they don’t turn into a foursome. (Not even slightly.) Which to my mind is a good thing.

Jax and Minuet are not really exciting; they simply wallow in their perfect D/s bliss.

Roland and Angel, on the other hand, feature an interesting struggle; yet as a result consent is somewhat dubious.
Things between them are actually pretty horrifying at first. Not so much the way it plays out, but having someone as strung-out and fragile as Angel suddenly finding himself

Not as kinky as other SM books but a nice addition. This focuses on two couples, Jax - a Dom looking for a perfect submissive who will take care of his every need and Minuet - a submissive looking for a Dom who will be his everything; and Roland - I couldn't really get a feel for Roland and Angel - exhausted, prima donna, bratty Angel.

Jax and Minuet were pretty much insta-love and Roland had his work cut out for him with Angel, since Angel isn't all that submissive and very used to getting his

I love Sean Michael books but it always disturbs me when a character goes cold turkey off drugs, no counseling no nothing.

I think annoying Angel spoiled this story and way too much sex.

Often referred to as "Space Cowboy" and "Gangsta of Love" while still striving for the moniker of "Maurice," Sean Michael spends his days surfing, smutting, organizing his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs. While collecting vast amounts of vintage gay pulp novels and mood rings, Sean whiles away the hours ...more
