This was a really good book. I loved the characters, their personalities, and their growth. There was definitely some twists I didn't see coming. The learned strength and self-discovery was a great part of this story. There was plenty of suspense and some definite breath-holding scenes. Each chapter seemed to re-hash the emotional struggle of the the main characters ad infinitum, even after they seemed to have moved past it just paragraphs before. The 'twist' was predictable and was seen coming a mile away. I know that these books have their own dedicated audience that apparently really likes them, but I can't in good conscience recommend this book to anyone ...more
