Follow the Sun left me with a huge goofy smile on my face. It's such a sweet and laid back story with loveable characters, a beautiful romance, and a gorgeous setting. When can I visit Sapphire Cay?! Sounds perfect! I just wish there was more because it was such a nice little read and I was totally in love with Dylan and Lucas. Well done, ladies!

I so enjoy a good man love story and Follow The Sun by RJ Scott and Meredith Russell is as emotionally gratifying as it is sexually delicious. The fact that it takes place on an island paradise adds a luscious backdrop to a very good story. Lucas is a workaholic on his way to an early grave according to his doctors if he doesn’t slow down. Luckily he is on his way to Sapphire Cay for his sister’s wedding and an extended vacation much t...more

It's good to see another collaboration RJ Scott and Meredith Russell and the beginning of a new series. Lucas Madison has raised his younger sister, Tasha, for ten years since their parents died. He has fought his way to the top of the corporate ladder but at the cost of his health. Lucas is in the Bahamas with Tasha on a serene little island called Sapphire Cay to end his familial duty by seeing his sister married. He is doing a goo...more

I loved this book, reading it was like laying on a hammock on a warm summer afternoon, it left me feeling happy, sated with a smile on my face. I so want more.
Lucas is a stressed corporate workaholic with high blood pressure and ulcers, recently diagnosed, on medication, he knows he needs to slow down and change his life, he just wants to see his sister safely married first. The wedding is at Sapphire Cay, an beautiful tropical island in the Bahamas, there he meets Dylan, a free spirited jack o...more

This was a sweet read, no conflict or angst, just an overworked Lucas trying to enjoy how sisters wedding, where he meets care-free happy go lucky Dylan.
Lucas knows he needs to change things in his life and I mean seriously , a hot guy,an exotic island....what's not to love?
It was light and easy and predictable, but that's ok, my only niggles were the word sad or some variation thereof was used 25 times in a relatively short story, yes I get it Lucas was sad, and the continuous mentioning o...more

Warning, this book is as sappy as they come.

I am a huge R.J. fan and this was no exception. Follow The Sun is great for all those who, like me, enjoy a lot of sap. It was angst free and drama free as far as I was concerned. The wedding setting was really nice and helped to set the romantic mood for me. Did I mention I was a fan of sap?

Lucas and Dylan were sweet together. Lucas the stuffy business man with a sad look in his eyes and Dylan the free spirit. But when the two come together it's the...more

Thought the premise of this sounded enjoyable and in its way it was but I felt something was missing. It was likeable but didn't have the wow factor. If pushed I would have to say that I thought the romance between the two MC's, that although being very romantic was lacking the sizzle and ST that most m/m romances have. Everything about this story is ' nice ' and its well written, but personally it hasn't left me feeling inspired to pick it up again or look out for any more of the series that wi...more

I bought this because of the setting, and I have to say I ADORED that aspect of the book. The island was described beautifully vividly.

I also enjoyed both of the characters.

As for the story, it didn't bother me so much that it was predictable (it's hard to find romance that isn't) as it did that it was repetitive. This story seems rather short for how difficult it was for me to make it through certain parts, because I felt like I'd already read them.

Sapphire Cay sounds like the perfect paradise to just relax, unwind and enjoy. That is also the type of story this is, a calm and easy read. I enjoyed the story and the characters, but would have liked to know more about them and their relationship. Seemed like the getting to really know each other was done outside of the story and the reader was not involved. I realize that this book needed to set the ground work for the future books about Sapphire Cay, so I am hopeful that we will get...more

This is a sweet, light romance between Lucas a workaholic and Dylan a free-spirited traveller with his own past. This story gives us a beautiful touch of rightness and at the end a reader feels satisfied. I sure did.

I enjoyed this book and R.J. Scott is usually an auto buy. However it wasn't my favorite book by her. It will be good to read more books in the future in this series.

Awww, how sweet. Nice light read that is relatively angst free with a HEA.

I liked this a lot more than expected. I picked this up because book two interested me, and I wanted the back story. I am glad I did because this was a happy story, perfect for a rainy day.

This is an excellent book. I'm looking forward to reading the other books in the series.

A nice story with so much potential that I would have greatly enjoyed to see explored at more length. Everything seemed a bit too rushed, in my opinion. Still, a very pleasant read.

Lucas is uptight and it could kill him if he doesn't find a way to have balance in his life. He wants to enjoy the two weeks of his sister's wedding and then go back and figure out what to do with work. Dylan is laid back and blows with the wind and follows the sun. So what harm is to have some vacation fun. But maybe in the end they are just what the other needs to balance.

This was a very sweet read. Good characters, great scenery--what more do you want? Maybe a slight case of insta-love, but not anywhere near enough to put me off really enjoying it. Honestly it was just what I needed!

Looking forward to the next in this series.
