When I finally had the time to sit down and read I got through this in one day. The page length is very short, nearly every page is a new chapter, but there is a lot of story packed in.
I had some difficulty adjusting to the author's writing style but after page 5 or so I was sucked in and by the end of the book the unique formatting made sense.

What I enjoyed about this story was the overall raw emotion pain...more

Some people won't like the honesty, but then again most people would rather ignore their unhappiness too. The writing was not perfect. In some places it felt rushed. I feel like the author ws trying to give a lot of info on his/her background to in someway justify how things turned out. Interesting to read his pov.

Less than exceptional writing but a study of middle age and lost dreams that reminded me of so many.

The Naked Husband is a story about a middle age man in an unsatisfying marriage. The book focuses on the path he chooses to take and living in the aftermath of that choice.

As I understand it, this book is based off a true story. While the writing is average I liked the brutal honesty and the chance to see how men really think and feel.

“I was 18 years old, I’d just left school and got a job in London, working in an insurance company. I was working inside - in an office! My mother thought that was like being CEO of Shell Oil.

“I was late one morning, I took a short cut through the church yard to the station to catch my train. I’d just finished reading The Sun Also Rises the night before; and here I was looking at all these gravest...more
