Since I do not own the VIZ manga of V5, this review is based on the scanslated version. In this volume, the scanslations were handled by several scanslation groups. Of course, it began with the wonderful and now-defunct, ShoujoMagic, but Chapter 26 was their last for this series. They dropped it, because it became licensed by VIZ in the US. Stolen Scans did chapter 27. Syuura Angels (Syuura) did the final 3 chapters of this volume.

When you want a boyfriend none are around, that is just how Riiko feels. On the path of desperation she signs up for a free trial for a robotic boyfriend. What can go wrong right? Nope, wrong! Riiko receives the extravagant Night, a hot and sexy man that only wants to please her.

Night, despite his miniature size, is causing all kinds of havoc for Riiko. He insists on going to school with her, and then keeps interfering with her activities. While trying to help her with clean up duty, he’s almost discovered by Miyabe. Keeping him hidden is getting to be a real pain, and Riiko’s not sure she can keep him a secret for much longer.

Kronos Heaven trys everything in their power to take night back. He has been recalled and they offer Riiko a replacement that looks the same. Shoshi gives Riiko an ultimatum. Riiko makes her choice. She finally realizes she can't have them both. This volume was a fun read and a slight improvement on the previous one.

Riiko had to give up Night because he had to get fixed by his company. When he recovers, he was to leave Riiko because she told many people that Night was not a human.Riiko told Soshi that she loved Night even though he was not human and Soshi knew, but wanted her to tell him person to person. Many people disliked Night to be with Riiko, but Night didn't give up Riiko and neither did she.
First time knowing about Zettai Kareshi a.k.a Absolute Boyfriend is from a japanese dorama with the same title as the manga..yea!!!..Starring Hayami Mokomichi (I'm a die hard fans of him)as Tenjo Night..the robot lover.
This drama makes me curious about the manga..and after finishing all chapter I think this manga series is better than the drama versions.

Just a little more filler for a series only 6 volumes in length anyway. Volume 5 is an improvement over its predecessor, with love-interest #2 Soshi finally getting the attention he deserves and Riiko finally making her choice. Somehow though, there is something rather unsatisfying about the whole conclusion.

I lovvvve Soushi. I love Night, but I love Soushi more. Still, Riiko's gotta make her choice, in the midst of the usual wacky hijinks.
