I didn't actually finish this book because I found it a little dull. Dudley-Smith doesn't write in a very engaging way and the book contains more excerpts of letters from Stott and those who knew him than it did narrative. I'll be looking to read Roger Steer's biography of Stott instead.
I love reading Biographies of those who have served the Lord. Timothy Dudley-Smith has evident affection for his subject but still gives us an honest accessment the factors that made John Stott the leader that he became. Well worth your time.
