Definitely a five star in my book. Oh wait . . .
My first thought as I reviewed this book is that there was no time to breath. The storyline starts with a huge action scene, and then goes to the next big scene. Then something more exciting happens. Once again Julie has written characters that you like and care about right from the beginning. This doesn't mean that her characters are without flaws, but she gives many reasons to care about them. Rafe and Claire have real chemistry from the start. With everything that is happening in the story, ki...more

One night, I couldn't sleep. I like to read to relax before bed. Its about 2am at this point. I opened All Fall Down to the front cover, where the author Julie (were tight like that, right?) wrote "I hope you stay up reading this one". I bust out laughing. So much for relaxing before bed.

I love it when a book jumps right into the story. Page one and you are interested and can't wait to read more. Rafe is a Navy Seal on medical leave and walks into his fathers office building hoping to run into a...more
Classic Julie Bellon suspense novel! An enjoyable, fast-paced read, with quite a few surprising twists and turns (I will forever be creeped out by 'Ring Around the Rosies').

Navy SEAL Rafe Kelly thinks he's taking a nice break to recover from a knee injury. Yet, he walks into the middle of a hostage situation where he is being held hostage by his best friend & comrade, Gary, who in turn is being controlled by a terrorist with a major vendetta.

Claire Michaels, the local detective, responds to...more

For fans of international romantic suspense, All Fall Down, by Julie Coulter Bellon is an exciting find! The hero and heroine are professionals, with convincing credentials that are easy to believe in and identify with. Every author faces the problem of leading her readers to “suspend disbelief” and buy into her story. With this genre, that is particularly difficult because of all the technical, legal, and routine details. For instance, the heroine is a hostage negotiator. However, Bellon has do...more
4.5 stars... A lot of action in this one with a little romance!

Rafe Kelly is a Navy SEAL who is home recovering from a knee injury. He has been summoned to his family's business which is currently being run by his younger brother, Vince, while his father is recovering from a stroke. He's not excited to see Vince, but he is excited to see his Navy buddy, Gary Holman, who has been working at Axis since he was released from active duty because of injuries. His reunion with Gary is anything but happ...more

Multi-published author, Julie Bellon, has written another great international suspense!

If you enjoy suspense, romance, and twists and turns, then you'll enjoy All Fall Down. Bellon is masterful at writing suspense. From the first page until the last, and I mean the very last (because there is a twist I didn't expect and I actually said out loud, "Are you serious? How can this get any worse?") it is a roller coaster.

The book starts with a hostage situation--I will never sing "Ring Around the Rosy...more
This was a fantastic book! I was totally hooked from the beginning, I actually read this pretty much in one sitting because I couldn't put it down! The author does a masterful job of taking you from one intense situation (a hostage situation on page 1) to another intense situation, and so on which compels you to keep reading and turning the pages until suddenly it's 3 am and you didn't even realize it! Her characters are very realistic and her dialogue is very believable, two things that I alway...more
All Fall Down is a quick moving story with suspense, betrayal, action and a bit of romance. Julie doesn’t wait to throw the reader right into the action.

The opening hostage scene on the roof was intense. For me it was the most suspenseful part of the story. I really liked both Claire and Rafe. They go through so much and I wondered if they were ever going to catch a break. I saw one twist coming, but I wasn’t sure how it would play out. One of my favorite parts was the first time Rafe meets Clai...more

I had no idea what to expect with the cover, and I was kind of nervous. However, I have to say, I loved this book, just loved it. I am not a huge huge fan of military based books, let alone military-esq type romances but this totally sold me. I was smiling through so much of the dialog between Claire and Rafe. They were just delightful together. While the 'twist' became evident a few pages before it was revealed, it didn't take anything away from the moment that it happened. I highly recommend t...more
I LOVE it when a books starts out action-packed from page ONE and this book did just that!
Suspenseful all the way through with just enough romance to make you smile.
Clair is just trying to do her job AND help someone else who has gone through what she had to.
Rafe is just trying to save his brother AND make sense of the loss of his best friend.
Can they help each other? Who else can the trust? Read and find out :)
This book keeps you on the edge of the page as you have to keep turning to find out...more
Couldn't put it down. Great book!
Exciting from Start to finish
Romantic suspence by LDS authors is probably my favorite genre to read. Not only is it exciting (and of course romantic) but it is also clean. And Julie Coulter Bellon is one of the best in this category! I love how she keeps readers on their toes the whole time with impossible situations and against insurmountable odds while taking them across the globe to interesting and exotic locations.

All Fall Down is probably my favorite of all Julie's novels. The story was exciting, the characters were li...more

I just finished reading All Fall Down by Julie Coulter Bellon and I must say that I liked it quite a lot. It was the kind of book that I looked forward to reading. The kind of book that I wanted to leave work early so that I could get home and read some more. I liked the writing style and the story was engaging. I also have a soft spot in my heart for military men & women willing to put their lives on the line to protect Americans, and the main characters were mostly military men and one str...more
This book was a quick and entertaining read. The suspense was palpable from the very beginning and continued to build as the story unfolded. Claire and Rafe's ominous adventures kept coming and that made for an action packed journey to the end. The surprising twists were fun to get to as well.

I really liked the storyline. I also liked the many themes to grasp (aside from the obvious, terrorist and romance) such as father-child relationship, placing more importance on work than family time,...more
All Fall Down drew me in with the first sentence. The hostages, bombs, government secrets, terrorists, and romance made for a great book. I did find my attention waning a little bit near the end, but I can't put my finger on a reason. It may have been external distractions in my life. But, even with that, I really enjoyed this action packed adventure.

Claire and Rafe were a good team. Their occupations are both so exciting. I liked that neither seemed power-hungry. They were in their jobs for nob...more
Wow, this book jumps right into the action and suspense right away and honestly doesn't let up the whole book. It was full on. I loved it.

Claire is a smart, strong woman. She knows what she wants and she just jumps in with both feet and works until she gets it. The hurts of her past motivate her to be the very best she can be in her job. I love her fierce sense of loyalty.

Rafe is everything heroic and awesome. Steady, calm and strong. He is a protector and he takes his role very seriously. His...more

I am new reader to author Julie Coulter Bellon and I have to say that if all of her books are like All Fall Down, then she has a new fan! All Fall Down is definitely a suspense novel full of action, intrigue and a little bit of romance as well. The characters are both extremely strong-willed or stubborn shall we say? It was fun seeing Claire and Rafe's dynamic together when they were both so head-strong. The book flowed well and I never felt like there was a part that was slow or failing to hold...more
It started out good and fast but then it slowed way down and I was a little disappointed with the writing. Navy Seal thriller and clean.

Rafe and Claire met under very unusual circumstances. He was a hostage , she was the negotiator. That didnt work out to well.they walk away wounded but the hostage taker was dead. everything was calm until Vince Rafes brother is taken hostage. Its a mad dash for Rafe and Claire to get to Vince. and at the end what will becaome of Rafe and Claire? This book is a fast paced hard to put down book and the action is awesome I will buy More Book From Julie she's now one of my favorite authors!
I was drawn into this book from the first page! Rafe Kelly, a former NAVY seal is taken hostage by his friend, Gary, who is being threatened by a group with a larger agenda. Claire Michaels, a hostage negotiator, along with her team, tries to unravel all the details and keep everyone alive. Fast paced, action packed, with a touch of G rated romance. This book is ok for teenagers, grades 9 and up.
This book was all plot and very little detail or character development. The plot was very faced paced and kept me interested.
Another great book by Julie Coulter Bellon. My daughter and I liked this book. A hostage negotiator is kidnapped along with a Navy SEAL. They are taken to Afghanistan. There are bombs involved, along with other dangers. I am looking forward to reading the sequel.

I read this book again. It is a great book.

Ms. Bellon is a master builder of international suspense with just a smidgeon of romance to wet the readers' appetites.

Clean, romantic, and very suspenseful;. I really liked it. Hostage negotiator helps in a bad situation, but ends up with the victim for several other situations, all related. I really liked the characters, and can't wait to read the next ones.
Very well written. I enjoyed the plot and characters a lot. Actin packed, with some romance mixed in. Full review coming Thursday, November 15. and

3.5 stars for this one. It was a good quick read full of action. I will never think of that nursery rhyme the same again.
The plot for first half was a page turner! But later on got more predictable.

One of Julie's best books.
