Being from the east and also a city girl I relate to Danny at the beginning of the book. I The plot was unique I loved the relationship had his uncle, girlfriend, his mom. Danny showed a lot of strength and growth throughout the book. I never went sasquatching but i do believe that the Bigfoot exist. There are things that still have to be discovered. It was interesting to see the different ways that the characters went looking for evidence of the Bigfoot. I don't want to give to much of the book ...more

Shelves: first-reads
I received this book through the first-reads program. I had a hard time getting into the book but once the relationships started to become more developed then I was more interested in the characters and their stories. I like the interesting way that Danny's growth was shown through his human to human connections and through him and the sasquatches. My biggest faults with the book was in the beginning and the end. I'm not a big fan of an indecisive ending and would have preferred having one. ...more

Beautifully Moving

This book is one of the best I have read in sometime. I immediately became caught up in the richness and depth of the main character. Robert Tucker's words sent me back to my own youthful memories as I shared in his vision. I highly recommend not only this book but, also, the two others I read yesterday. Each of his books are uniquely different and richly creative.

Robert Tucker lives in New York's Finger Lakes region with his wife, Kathy. An attorney as well as an author, he is an avid outdoorsman, and his experiences in the woods often come through in his writing. He is an unabashed believer in bigfoot, ghosts, and the dog-man of northern Michigan. He also believes that the Detroit Tigers will win another world series in his lifetime. He's not so ...more
