Story of a young girl who wakes up "deaf" on her llth birthday - the day the Pied Piper takes all the other children from the town of Hamelin. She has the "gift" of deep dreaming and rescues the children with helpful companions. A well-written fantasy story for young pre-teens.

I really love how creatively writen this book is. I am yet to find a book that shows Adventure and Mysticalnessosity with such a fantastic twist as this book.

A deaf girl goes looking for what happened to the children of Hamelin after the Pied Piper took them away. This was an odd story that seemed to hint at soul travel.

Very dark retelling of Pied Piper... good but creepy.
