Shelves: mystery
This is a fresh and upcoming take on a classic murder novel. I loved how the characters interacted with each other and the suspense and mystery kept me entertained throughout the whole novel. The storyline was compelling and interesting especially for someone who didn't grow up in the era of the time. This was a great read and an enjoyable story.

Robert Grahame is a PI in 1947 Los Angles and this story begins after the murder of gangster Bugsy Siegel. He takes on a case to finder the missing brother of his client, Lizabeth Duryea, but things get complicated, people get killed and Grahame needs to find the truth before he is killed himself or worse, charged with Siegel’s murder.
