Sophia Kennedy is determined to chase her own success, rather than ride her father’s coattails. She’s devoted herself to Books and Brew, the business she owns with her three best friends. She doesn’t feel the need to explain herself to anyone, least of all the free-aid lawyer who’s determined to judge her as a society princess. She’d ignore him altogether…if it were up to ...more

Bachelor’s Bait is book three in the Cocktales series by Mari Carr. I have to say I’m loving this series, and I am sad we only have one left after this. This one is my favorite of the series so for!! I absolutely love the dynamics between Marc and Sophia.

Sophia is determined not to be considered a daddy’s girl riding his coat tails, and she has worked hard to not be either of those things. She and her best friends have busted their butt

Assumptions: you know what they say about them.

When Sophia Kennedy mows lawyer Marc Garrett down outside the nail salon, he assumes the society princess is working with her father toward the same goal. After a mix-up with cell phones, Marc soon discovers his ideas about Sophie are as far from his original preconceived notions as he could be. The more Sophie is around Marc, the harder it is to ignore her attraction to him, but she is d

This is book 3 out of 4 of the series. Sophie is co owner of a bar/bookstore along with three of her friends. On one of her worst days she meets Marc who is also having one of the worst days. He has preconceived notions about her because she is always on the society pages. They have this attraction ( I won't say love it's too soon for that) and hate for one another, but they have one goal in common and that is to save the community center. In the end as in all romance novels they can no longer f ...more

I am such a goner for stories like this. People who 'hate' eachother but it's so clear they are attracted to eachother as well and have great chemistry. I liked this one.

This was a great read. If you've read other books by this author you'll like this book. I love the setting of this series around Books & Brew. The girls are a group of BFFs who support, tease & have fun together. I loved how

Hot yummy foreplay and WOW sex with a smoking hot lawyer all wrapped up with a touching make-up with our heroines daddy and the required HEA that comes from MC!! Perfection!

Sexy and unashamed.

Love Carr's approach to women and sex. Fun read with flirty and sweet elements including just a tiny taste of some sugarkink.

I enjoyed this, but I really wanted more at the end!!! Still it was fun and had it's steamy moments. But it could have been sooo much more!

Writing a book was number one on Mari Carr’s bucket list and on her thirty-fourth birthday, she set out to see that goal achieved. Five years later, her computer is jammed full of stories — novels, novellas, short stories and dead-ends and six of her books have been published.

High school librarian by day and mother of two busy teenagers, Mari Carr found time for writing by squeezing it into the ho
