A solid 4 stars! The first book took some getting accustomed to the over-used (and many times unnecessary) cussing...but it's worn on me and I'm glad I stuck with it. I'll admit, I was hoping that Nysta would face the Bloody Nine all at once in an epic fight scene, but it was clear early on that that wasn't going to happen. The fights were still good, but I think they had less impact because Nysta IS such a badass. She's a strong enough fighter that I wasn't really worried about her in these smaller fights.

The chapter-ending puns made their return, but they didn't seem as jarring as they were in the first book (I think in part because they seemed to be makin
