Wow! Midnight’s Kiss is one of those books that leave you wondering how all of that just happened and I not have whiplash and dead tired hands. There is one intense page turner to be found with this book.
There is so much going on in the Dark Warriors world. With the big climatic events of Midnight’s Seduction & Midnight’s Warrior there are some huge game changers, as there should be. I love that Donna is keeping it fresh and new in the villain department. I also have many questions about th
I was lucky enough to read an advanced readers copy of Midnight's Kiss and let me tell you Donna Grant totally delivers an amazing story with Aaron and Dr.Reid. This book is packed with adventure, romance, Druids and immortal warriors. You can't go wrong with this series.

The very first question that popped into my head concerning this book was, where will Grant take us next? After wrapping up several threads in the last book, Grant has the opportunity to open up a whole new vista to explore in this book. After having read the blurb to this book, I had a feeling that I would love it. And I did!

I am a sucker for archaeologist heroines. I honestly don’t know what it is. Maybe it’s the research and the history that goes with it, that feeling of discovering somethin
An exciting, action-packed tale you won't want to miss! Taken from my review at

For centuries, evil Druids Deirdre and Declan have reigned on the earth, but a year ago Arran MacCarrick and his fellow immortal warriors killed them. In their quest to rid the world of the evil, the warriors lost many of their friends, but now hope to live in peace. Arran envies his friends who have found their women, all formidable Druids. They all live in MacLeod Castle and look forward to the d
As I have written many times before I ADORE Donna Grant's Dark Sword/Dark Warriors Series.. I use both terms because this series started off as The Dark Sword Series, taking place in Medieval Scotland but when the characters jumped to current day.. the series changed names.. It's the same series *grins* sorta.. A new day, A new evil and new challenges to overcome BUT the same warriors I first fell in love with.

The warriors have had a year of peace, since they destroyed both Deidre and Declan li
**The danger and passion explode in the third installment of this exclusive Dark Warriors e-serial from *New York Times* bestselling author Donna Grant. A dark, powerful Highlander will do anything to protect—and keep—the only woman his soul craves.**

They have surrendered to unforgiving passion, to unrelenting yearning and to unimaginable pleasure—and Ronnie knows her life has been forever altered.Arran is more than she ever could have expected and she finds herself pulled into a world that she
Arran Arran Arran.... don't you know when you make fun of others stepping into love ... it will come back to bite you in the arse lol. So I love how Ramsey turned the tables on Arran with convenient interruptions lol. Just desserts. Too funny. I love that they are branching out. We have some new warriors... I think I am still holding out hope on Aisley and Dale. I think they are sitting on a fence neither wish to be on, not sure what is compelling them to keep up but I am sure we will learn soon ...more
I am conflicted on this rating. If I only thought about the story I would rate it higher but on writing style, I would rate it even lower. The dribbling, exhausting repetition in the dialog is unbelievably tiring and to say that the secession in the various minor plots are so predictable is an understatement. This does it for me in this series.

I really enjoyed this book. It was great getting to know Arran, who previously always blended into the background for me. I was surprised how quickly the sexual need arose between him and Ronnie, which is why I was surprised that they didn't give into until as late as they did.... but whoa what a scene it was!!

The war is over, or so the Dark Warriors think. They are now searching for the magical items lost hundred's of years ago, looking for the scroll to bind their gods so that they can start families with their wives and live normal lives. And finding an archeological dig site with a beautiful archeologist/druid who only knows that something under the earth calls to her for release has the warrior Arran by her side, guarding her and hoping for the item to be amongst those she finds. But just as the ...more
Midnight's Kiss

The reign of evil has ended with the death of the two most corrupt Droughs, but restlessness has settled over the MacLeod castle.

The mated Warriors yearn for normal lives, to live, to die, to create life beyond themselves, but the search for the scroll containing the spell to bind their gods seems never-ending. When a lead is discovered, Arran, bored with the recent inactivity and the need to unleash his pent up aggression, volunteered to go.

When he arrives at the archaeological
The Warriors have two wins under their belt. However, they do not let that “sense of calm” relax their guard. But what else do you expect from alpha Highlanders?
Ronnie is an archeologist, a darn good one. Each of her dibs results in great finds, but then, her magic much more subtle and different from the other Druids helps her locate important and magical items. She too is unaware of her Druid-ity until Arran. And she’s leery about starting something up with Arran because she had been burned a
Once again Donna Grant takes us into the world of the Highland Warriors. In this novel we see Arran meet his match in Veronica Reid. Dr. Reid is a first class archaeologist who has the knack for finding exquisite artifacts. She knows she is different, but she has no clue that she is a Druid. When the handsome and distracting Arran arrives on her dig site she knows immediately she is in trouble.

Arran is feeling restless and volunteers to go to the archaeological site in order to try to find the s

It’s been a year since the residents of MacLeod Castle defeated Deidre and Declan. Everybody has been breathing a sigh of relief that the evil is over and they can finally start living their lives in peace. Everybody, that is, except Arran, who felt there was more evil lurking, but just waiting for the perfect time to strike.

Arran is tired being cooped up in the Castle with nothing to do, but watch the mated couples. So

A must read for any fan of The Dark Sword novels ... Or simply any fan of Donna Grant.

I was lucky enough to receive this book as an ARC from Donna Grant through her Facebook page. I am so glad that I was the one to win it, because I was not originally aware of this spin-off series. I love the Dark Sword series, and to have found the Dark Warriors makes my heart happy. Due to life/family/work, I was not able to jump into this book right away, but once I did, I devoured it in a weekend!

Another Amazing Addition to the Dark Warriors

Every time I pick up one of Donna Grant's Books I read the first few lines and I just take a breath and settle in for I know for the next few hours I will be reading something captivating and unique.

Midnight’s Kiss ~ Donna Grant

Another great book by Donna Grant! The world she creates will leave you speechless and wanting for more. It has it all. They come from Ancient Scotland to Modern Day times. Magic. The Dark Warriors fight between good vs evil. Love and friendship that is never ending and last though time. Their world just got more intense and there is a new darkness coming there way.
This is Aaron and Ronnie’s book. They have everything going against them but will there love be enough.

Donna Grant you have done it again! A truly fantastic read! Midnight Kiss is the fifth book in the Dark Warrior’s series, but not one time has the storyline slowed down, it keeps getting better and better. The old evil has finally been defeated by our wonderful warriors and it was quite a battle. For a year they have enjoyed their victory, but the natives are getting restless feeling they must fine the spell to bind their Gods so they can have a real future with their mates. Do they really want ...more
"Midnight's Kiss" by Donna Grant. Book 5 in the Dark Warriors series.

Oooohhhh!!!! I REALLY REALLY loved this one!! I so enjoyed this storyline between Arran and Ronnie (full name is Veronica but it's only used once in the book as an introduction). A new villain is introduced and I think he's pretty evil. He's right up there with Deirdre and Declan for sure, if not, more so!

Arran is a Warrior on a mission. He's been tasked to find an artifact that has the Binding Spell so that he and his fellow W
Rating is 3.5 stars. Nice smexy fun, with a new big bad in town. The heroine was almost TSTL at times, which was thoroughly frustrating, but luckily she redeemed herself at the end. I am hoping she is an anomaly and not a trend for future heroines in this series! Unnecessary cliff-hanger in the second to last chapter also lessened my enjoyment a bit, as I'm sick of writers doing that. But I'll continue reading the series because it's still enjoyable!

It's now a year later than Midnight's Warrior, and the Warriors and Druids have become complacent. After all, evil is dead, right?

Arran arrives on Veronica "Ronnie" Reid's archeological dig to "help out." The Warriors and Druids suspect that the magical scroll they need to bind their gods is buried there. Ronnie has an uncanny knack for finding artifacts. Magical artifacts. She has a secret ability for finding them. An ability that she doesn't understand. But Arran does.

But what is really
This was again a very good series. And I loved the fact that it started with the Dark Swords. Now I will probably look at the Dark Kings.
Have to confess though that I was just a little upset with Malcolm’s woman. If you look at the series, the women became more… naïve (by lack of a better description), as the centuries went on. She did improve though; have to give her credits for that.
I don’t think I can really pic one character or couple who captured me. They all have that special something for
Well, I have to say, Donna Grant has outdid herself here. This was such an amazing and emotional book. I think this was one of my favorites so far. Midnight’s Kiss was filled with so much action, suspense, humor, emotions and romance. It had so many ups and downs and twists from beginning to end.

First I absolutely loved the 2 main characters Arran and Ronnie. Two very strong personalities but instead of clashing they were perfect together.

I love the new evil that was introduced. This definitely

It took me a little bit to get into the book and the style of writing but about the third chapter I was hooked and running in a world with Warriors and Druids and I was invested. I hadn't read the previous books in this series and now I've got to go back and catch up because I love the relationships in this book and I want to go back and see how everything started. Ronnie and Arran were hot and tense and wonderful to read. Ronnie opens up to Arran's world with an ease that I wish real life could ...more
I just love losing myself in one of Donna's Highlander Warrior stories. Pure fantasy at its best. Midnight Kiss did not disappoint me at all. What's wonderful about Donna's stories are how fluently everything flows. The characters, the story line, everything becomes so real like leaving you the reader imagining you are becoming a part of the story. Aaron and Ronnie were so well suited. The interactions were wonderful between them. There's new bad boy introduced in this story, taking over where D ...more
I've read all the books in this series; some were good, others were just ok. This book was barely ok.

There wasn't much in the way of character development (we meet Declan's evil cousin, Jason, and his warriors and druids) and the storyline was simple, lacking any depth, IMO. The sickeningly sweet reflections of Arran's and Ronnie's love for each other had my eyeballs rolling on more than one occasion. I know I know, that's how these historical romance novels often are but this was really over t
She's done it again! I will never get enough of these hunky highlander warriors and their quirky druid women. Arran and Ronnie's story had me on the edge of my seat the whole time! Now that there is a new evil to battle these warriors have plenty to keep them busy. I wanted to knock some sense into Ronnie a few times because really there is only so much denial one can come up with and hers was dragged out a little too much. And at one point in the story something happened that nearly did me in a ...more
