This is a promising and charming debut novel and follows a young man who, after being ditched by his live-in girlfriend, throws his job over too. He does this in a funny and remarkable way. Really enjoyed it, so much so that I read it again. An easy read that doesn't depress and actually makes you smile and laugh out loud as you go through the journey with Simon - recommended

This is a debut novel and I'm looking forward to reading more from the author.

The book is genuinely funny in parts, and the characters that the narrator meets are well drawn.

I felt the end of the story was a bit hurried, which is the reason this isn't 5 stars.
