Looking at the reviews for this book you may be tempted to pass it up. I almost was. I am so VERY glad that I didn't. I think that whether or not you will enjoy this book depends on what you are looking for when you pick it up. A large amount of erotica this book isn't. (While there are some scenes they are mild compared to even some of the author's other works.) However, a well thought out, imaginative story that draws you in this story it absolutely is. What an awesome romance story about dragons. Not just your typical dragons but ones that can take human form. How cool is that? The race is dying though and a true love must be found.

This book has the unwanted honour to be the first one for which I asked for a refund. I wasn't willing to bin 6$ on it.
I found it really unreadable. Plot, characters, writing, everything was all over the place. Midway nothing had happened, and I mean nothing.
Characters said something and behaved in a different way.
The writing is atrocious (my apologies to the author, this is simply the way I experienced it.)
There are no reasons for the heroine to remain and hear him out. She keeps saying so, ke...more

If you love a book that can draw you in to the point that you clearly envision the story than Dragon's Heart is right up your ally! Once again LaVerne Thompson creates a world where her characters come to life right before the reader's eyes. A world where majestic dragons once ruled and the present time come together for a battle of survival.
