Lucky him, he found his mate. Just one teensy, tiny problem. She was already married to someone else.

Meeting the woman of his dreams would have worked a lot better if she didn’t already belong to another man. But Chris wasn’t about to let something like ‘until death do us part’ keep him from claiming his woman. He’ll do anything to win his mate, including throwing his attr...more

Omg I can't wait. Feel really bad for chris already and I haven't even read any of the book yet.

Another great read written by Eve Langlais! This story was like having two complete stories in one. The same fun, funny and sensual way she writes all of her works with a little less steam and a different type of twist(s) that make Eve's writing so addictive. A definite must read for all paranormal romance readers!

Jill and her brother Jack (hee hee) have been in hiding, running and protecting each other for a majority of their lives from a disgusting hunter that has once held them captive. Part...more

I have to admit, I have a stalking Eve Langlais book problem (and I don't regret it one bit!). I think I've picked up ALL her books at some point or another and I have to say that Already Freakn' Mated is just as good as all the others I've picked up by her. If you haven't read her books before and you love hot, spicy, humor filled Paranormal Romances, then Eve is your girl. Even her Alien stories (which I normally don't really do sci-fi fantasy) has me in a tizzy.

We have Chris and Jill. Then w...more

This was a pretty good story. It's kind of cool because there's not actually any cheating in the story (view spoiler)[Jack and Jill are brother and sister under false IDs to hide them from a madman (hide spoiler)] and two couple come out in the end. :D

So the story starts off with Chris meeting Jiao & Sheng when he comes to their house to give them a quote for a job. He knows right off that Jiao is his mate but doesn't know if Sheng is another mate or if they are just married. He decides to f...more

Already Freakin Mated

Chris, popular handyman, saving for a home of his own, is out to check out a job. A new couple has moved into the area and wants to get a quote to make a gym in their basement. Stopping by the nice ranch style home, he knocks. When he meets the beautiful woman Jill in the door way, he can't believe she is his mate! There is one major problem, she already has a husband. Jill and her husband (Jack...hehe) don't want to socialize. Even though everyone in the area are shifters j...more

Poor Chris a player and a ladies man finds his mate, but before he can claim her to be his, he gets another surprise.. She is freakn' MARRIED! Not wanting to go down his sister or brothers path and have a menage relationship he is determined to get "Jill" to be his. After all the man she married is not her true mate.

The chemistry started as soon as Jill opened the door. They both realize right away that they are mates but there is the little problem of Jills husband Jack. But Jill being married...more

Written For Confessions From Romaholics

When Jiao had eight years old, her family migrated from Thailand to Canada and got kidnapped by Kaleb (a human who discovered that shifters exist) because they were clouded leopards and the last of their kind. Kaden used to sell the rare breeds, but kept Jiao’s family because of their agility, and they were trained to act like circus acrobats, having to flip between their human body and their cat form while fifty feet up in the air.

Just after the death of t...more

This was definatly not what I had expected from this book - I wasn't disappointed, but I was thinking something completely different!

Jiao and her brother Sheng had it hard as kids. They were kidnapped along with their parents by a human who ran a shifter's compound. Since Jiao and her family were a rare breed of Smoke Leopards, they were put to use in the compound instead of sold or hunted.
They were now Circus folks.

When Their parents got older, their father was hunted and died. Their mother...more
Laurie (Bitten by Paranormal Romance)
Eve Langlais knows how to add surprises in her books, but this book took surprise to a whole new level. Not only do you get a super huge surprise about the married couple by wondering where in the heck Eve was going to take this storyline or how in the heck she was going to pull this one off, but Eve also added another surprise with an extra couple mating in this story, so you also get two romances in one. As always you get fun characters, action and hot mating. The characters are a joy to read...more

The story is quite enjoyable, love the tension when Chris thought that Jaio and Sheng are married. I like the ending between Gina and Sheng, where she finally pulled the stick out of his a**. I also like the fact the Eve manages to pull off a worthy climax scenes, not just cut-off where the h/H automatically lives happily ever after.
Dr. Bronwyn Ph.D of Smutology
My least favourite of the series.

The biggest issue is that the secret of Sheng and Jaio's past didn't just end up being a secret between them and the other characters but the readers are left out of the loop as well. We get hints and memories but its all done so emotionlessly. They were held captive, abused, treated like property and watched their parents die all emotional things yet in the process of keeping the secret I was never able to connect with the characters. So much page time was taken...more

I have never read an Eve Langlais book I haven't liked. This one is no different. Good plot and story line. Would have liked more erotica scenes but overall another winner.
Brittany
Just ok like the others in the series. The series itself is a quick fast read nothing that will stand out to me later but a good way to pass the time.

Another great book in the series! The first is still my favourite and I think will remain so cause it is the first in the series but this one is currently a close second! I loved Chris and Jiao and also Chris's Cousin Gina and Jiao's brother Sheng! Not a meange as in the previous two books in the series but you think it will be in the beginning! I love how Sheng has changed by the end of the book and gained (or rather regained I suppose) a sense of humour and fun! This book was funny and quite h...more

Another cute, funny entry in this shifter series. Not my favorite of them all, but I like the continuing story and getting to see characters from earlier books.
Brandi Porter
Third book in the series and I loved it. It wasn't as funny as the other two but it made up for it with the great story line.
Kanya
A very fun (and hot!) addition to the Freakn' Shifters series! Made me want to reread the fisrt two books. If you enjoy paranormal romance with a twist, this one is for you!

Loved it! This is the best in the series with #1 coming in at a close second.
Shanna Trim
Good. I enjoyed this one, but the storyline wasn't a huge shock.
Lady Lioness
I'm not one for adultery so I would have preferred that (view spoiler)[ the fact Jiao and Sheng weren't actually married was established earlier (hide spoiler)]. Langlais can usually be counted on for humor, but this book is more serious than her usual stuff. The second half of the story was better than the first, right about the time when Sheng removes the stick from his ass.
Jessica Weiss
Ahh! I still can't wait for this one. Did it get pushed back? I thought it was supposed to be released in September. The blurb makes me want to read it even more though! Poor evil Chris, lol.

Enjoyed this almost as much as the first two, and I'm glad to hear there's at least one more coming.

I truly loved this story. It was the best in the series. It was emotional. Well worth the read.
Lea Barrymire
I love this series, and this was definitely a great addition to it. I love snarky heroines!
Krista Bunny
To me, it wasn't as funny or hot as the previous 2 but a good story!

Hello, my name is Eve. I'm a stay at home mom who works as a webmistress/customer service rep. In between juggling my three kids, hubby, and housework, I write romance--usually with werewolves or aliens lol.

Born in British Columbia, as a military brat, I have lived a little bit everywhere--Quebec, New Brunswick, Labrador, Virginia (USA) and finally, Ontario. My family and I currently live just out...more
