I really love the two characters in this book - Winnie and Thad. Winnie has been living on the streets of London with her friend Ruby when a stranger,(Thad)makes her an offer which she struggles to decide on. Thad is full of mystery but what makes him even more mysterious is the strange requests he asks of Winnie. Great book from a wonderful trilogy! :)

In the wee hours of the morning, Tim O’Rourke released his latest novel, Moonlight, a new series that he’s had under wrap and key, only recently announcing its upcoming release to his fan base. Highly exuberant about any new release of O’Rourke’s, I set aside my vast reading pile to swoop in and devour this enticing story of Winter and Thaddeus. And once again, O’Rourke does not di

This fantastic paranormal read had me glued to the page, as I was entranced and hypnotised by this compelling tale!!

I am so impressed by Tim O’Rourke whose novel ‘Moonlight’ surpassed and exceeded all positive expectations, as it totally blew me away by its originality within this genre. The striking, eye-catching cover is amazing and which I feel is one of the best book covers I have seen! I was anticipating a slightly rudimentary story about a Werewolf hence I was delighted by the fresh, uniq

Tim O’Rourke decided to pull another book series out of that awesome mind of his and surprise everybody. We have been given the tale of Winter McCall and Thaddeus Blake.

Winnie’s life hasn’t been easy, she has had to survive on the streets of London, having only one friend, trusting no one. She was spotted by Thad on the steps of the Embankment Tube Station begging for money. Winnie has pride and has never traded favours for money. So when Th
I'm sitting here and my mind draws blank on what are my thoughts about this one. One thing I know for sure is that I didn't love it, most of the times hated it, whilst there were those sprinkled moments that I had those Awwwww moments.

I wanted to rate this a 2.5 stars.

It felt like a daytime soap drama with alot of bad acting. I really don't see myself moving unto book two. My eyes still hurt from the contant rolling it did, throughout this book.

Absolutely loved this book, it has it all blood, and a whole lot of mystery. Loved Winnie and Thaddeus, he is so mysterious, one minute you've think you've got him figured out, then the next minute you totally haven't. Can't wait for the next one to see where the story takes us!!

I’ve been putting off reading Tim’s Kiera Hudson series for months now needing to do something about my never ending TBR pile that continues to grow on a daily basis. With the release of Moonlight and its interesting premise, I found my way into Tim’s clutches, and I’m glad I did. I can honestly say that I am now a fan of his writing and look forward to starting and finishing both of Tim’s Kiera Hudson series as well as the next book in this series.

I started and finished Moonlight by Tim O'Rourke today - read it during lunch, while I was cooking dinner, and skipped stuff on TV because this book was so good! As a fan of Tim's other series, I was excited that he wrote this book as the first of a new trilogy. The hero Thaddeus and the heroine Winter aka Winnie were both lost souls who capture the reader right from the beginning. What I liked best about this book was how unexpected the storyline was - had me guessing the entire time and I like ...more

In this book, you meet a very poor girl in her late teens, who has learned to fend for herself on the streets, and a nice, rich, young man who has taken an interest on her.
So now you think, "Ah, teen romance... what's new about that"... WRONG!!! you are so wrong... not only is there no real romance in this book...but it's the beginning of a roller-coaster adventure for both of them. There's a web of secrets and lies knit around the handsome Thaddeus Blake and Little miss Winter will be the one

I really enjoy Tim's writing style and this new series has taken off to a great start.

This story was a little shorter than most of Tim's Ive read but none the less and enjoyable read to fill in time before sleep .

Tim has the knack for giving the reader such vivid details in his writing , I feel as though Im in every story he writes.

This story being a little shorter I eagerly await the next one to get a little more insight into the characters - and see which direction this storyline

I really waffled between 3 and 4 stars for this book. I ended up going with 3 because I didn't feel enough connection to the characters to make me more enthusiastic.

That being said, I REALLY like Tim O'Rourke's style of writing. Its a refreshing change in 'voice', pacing, and character development. I'm wondering if the fact that he's male (and I've read mostly female paranormal writers) or that he's British is what makes him sound so different to me.

What!!? It can't be over! I must have the next book NOW! This author amazes me every time. His stories keep me turning page after page throwing me in a world of imagination that surpasses mine! Every time I think I know what will happen... It doesn't! Every character is so awesome within themselves you can't help but love them, flaws and all! This is a book you must pick up! Really if you love paranormal werewolves and vampires, you have to meet Tim's! Will. Blow. You. Away.

I reread this book because I bought the squeal. I didn't remember a lot from the first time I read it. I just knew that I had and I enjoyed it.

I am glad I did read it again. It was a good beginning to a series not great but good. I will continue and hope it gets better than good.

Received with thanks from the author in return for an honest review.

I had no expectations with 'Moonlight' as I hadn't read the synopsis. This is largely due to the fact that I have enjoyed every book of Tim's that I have read so far and wanted to start reading the main novel as soon as possible. The prologue grips the reader from the very beginning, '"Don't hurt me," the girl sobbed....', setting the scene with fear and tension as a young girl is being attacked. At first the reader has no idea

This is book one and it sets the tone for rest of the series, two lonely people drawn together by design or by circumstance. Thaddeus is a mysterious rich stranger offering Winter a way out of life on the streets in London. Winter is perplexed by the job offer which seems to good to be true but as she did not have much to lose, she chose to accept the position of housekeeper and travelled with Thaddeus to Cornwall. Her employer is a man of secrets, idiosyncrasies and strange requests that Winter ...more

Honestly Tim can do no wrong in my eyes. I am completely devoted to his books even though I wasn't sure how 'Moonlight' was going to stand against the wonderful 'Kiera Hudson' series but this was a true hit and totally different than KHS which is quite okay.

This book gives a lot of backstory in the first half with a ton of action throughout. When you read about the murders you have no idea as to who or what is doing the killing, so there is plenty of mystery as well. 'Moonlight' was a great ride

I devoured this book in about 4 hours flat! I am a huge fan of anything Tim O'Rourke, he has such a vivid imagination and such a unique way of translating that to paper that you can't help but love his works. What I like most about O'Rourke is his nack for a lack of main characters but, an abundance of storyline and intrigue.

We spend the majority of this book with Winter and Thad, and that's about it. Boring you say? Oh hells no! The story is engrossing and I found myself anxiously turning each

Love my vampires and werewolves! As I'm one book in, I can say that I'm team wolf this time. My heart goes out to Thaddeus and what he's had to go through over the centuries. Being in love with a vampire is stressing enough, especially if you are a werewolf. Add in said vampire is the daughter to the ruler of the vamps, and it's downright dangerous. Winnie just happens to look like Thaddeus's dead vampire wife, Frances. She was homeless, and despite Thaddeus being a stranger, she agreed to work ...more

I passed a pleasant evening with Moonlight, but anyone who has ever read Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Adventure Of The Copper Beeches will find this plot immanently familiar and predictable (just with a paranormal twist). As I have read Doyle's works it took a little of the fun out of it for me. I pretty much knew where the book was going from very early on. Despite that, I enjoyed O'Rourke's writing style and Thaddeus' personality (even if Winter didn't do too much for me) and Michelle, Claude, ...more

MOONLIGHT's Lycanthrope myth reminded me of Underworld and just like the movie, it was heartbreaking but not as violent... yet. I loved the blood and guts that Tim never fails to incorporate in his stories. I think I'm starting to develop an appetite for such bloody and graphic violence (scary!), I never thought I'd enjoy cannibalism this much. I'm still reserved as far as Thaddeus is concerned, he's gorgeous but I want to know more about the guy. As for Winter, I can onl

I was scared to read this book at first because there was no Kiera and Potter action but boy was I surprised. Brilliant book. Fast Paced, blood, gouge and vampires and werewolves the way I like them (Not sparkly) The book will be over before for you know it and with two brilliant lead characters -one who is a hot mess-, the book will leave you wondering what will happen to the pair next. If you love Kiera Hudson you'll love this. Brilliant book, Tim.

I was bitterly disappointed reading this book, and that surprised me because it sounded good. I think most of it comes from hoping that this would be an original monster novel and it just wasn't.

Tim o rourke ia an amazing author, he can write horror scenes that are downright fearsome and I'm a fan of his Kiera Hudson books, however, this just fell flat.
